Boast resilience, prevent burnout, confidence and emotional fitness. Increase joy, health & wealth

There is a lot of support for women in the middle of divorce.

Almost none for the woman who made it through and is now standing in her life wondering what actually comes next.

She is in her 40s or 50s. The papers are signed. But she is still figuring out who she is, what she wants, and what is still possible for her.

She is doing all of this quietly. Often alone.

I built Thriving Through the Storm for her. A 6-week Sunday group, small and intentional, designed specifically for this season. Because she deserves more than surviving. She deserves a real space to do the work of rebuilding with women who actually get it.

Link in bio if this is you.

Most of the conversation after divorce is about what happened. About him. About getting through it.

Very little of it is about you. What you actually want. Who you are becoming. What you are building next.

So let me ask: what do you want your life to look like now?

Not what it looked like before. Not what everyone expects. What do YOU want?

If you do not have an answer yet, that is okay. That is actually the most honest place to start.

Learning to ask that question and really sit with it is where everything begins to shift.

You are not starting from scratch after divorce. You are starting from experience, self-knowledge, and a hard-won clarity about what you will and will not accept.

Yes, starting over in your 40s or 50s comes with real weight. The fear of time, the logistics, the identity rebuild. None of that is small.

But you are not the same woman you were at 25. And that changes everything.

You know things now. About yourself. About what you need. About what you refuse to settle for. That is not a disadvantage. That is a foundation.

For years you were focused outward … giving, managing, holding everyone else together. You were last on the list. And honestly? You were okay with that.

Until now.

Now the quiet has arrived. The space is yours. And instead of feeling free, it feels strange. You don’t know what brings you joy. You’re not sure what you’d even do on a Saturday afternoon just for you.

You don’t have hobbies. You’ve forgotten your own likes and dislikes. Somewhere along the way, you forgot to keep that list.

That’s not a crisis…that’s an invitation. The space you now have is sacred. This is your moment to explore who you actually are.

The divorce is over. So why does it still feel like you’re waiting for your real life to start?

The papers are signed. The hard part is over.

So why does it still feel like you’re standing in someone else’s life, waiting for your real one to begin?

You’re not falling apart. You’re not ungrateful. You’re just in between …the woman you were inside that marriage, and the woman you’re becoming now.

And nobody really prepares you for that in between.

You’re not behind. You’re not broken. You’re just in between. And that’s exactly where the work begins.

Divorce can feel like everything is falling apart…

But it can also be the first time you get to truly choose your life.

For so long, you may have been compromising, adjusting, or surviving.

But now, you get to ask different questions:
What do I actually want?
How do I want to live?
What feels aligned for me now?

This isn’t just starting over…
this is creating a life that actually fits who you are becoming.

You’re not behind.
You’re being given an opportunity to design something more intentional.

A lot of women come out of relationships and realize their social circle has changed… or disappeared.

And making friends as an adult can feel awkward.

But friendship isn’t something you “missed”
it’s something you can rebuild.

Start small:
Go to the same places consistently
Be open to conversation
Follow up when you connect with someone

Put yourself in spaces where connection is expected: groups, classes, communities.

And yes… use tools if you need to. Apps like Bumble BFF are designed specifically for making friends.

You’re not behind… you’re rebuilding.
