Our softball players have been working incredibly hard in the weight room since returning to school. Gains are being made in the offseason! Thanks to our strength and conditioning coach Reid Lancaster!

Athens Softball celebrated its 2026 season at the annual banquet on Sunday. Photos in order feature high school honor roll, middle school honor roll, Alabama State Tournament participants, All-State and All-Area recipients, Varsity player and coach voted awards, local media awards, coach and player voted JV awards, and coach and player voted middle school awards. Congratulations on a great season ladies!

Athens Softball would like to express our sincere appreciation to Coach Stace Tedford for his years of dedication to the athletes of Athens High School. Coach Tedford was part of the softball state championships won by AHS in 2022 and 2024 as well as the state runner-up team in 2023. He has also coached many athletes in other sports across AHS and AMS over the years. Congrats on your retirement from coaching! We love you and wish you the best!
