Athens' only downtown park, the seven-acre Lay Park is equipped with a gymnasium, full-service kitchen, multi-purpose rooms, game room, fitness room, dance room, a library, arts and crafts room, picnic shelter, playground, and much more.

Our Lay Park Middle School After School Program is off to a great start! Our 6th–8th graders have been staying busy, learning new things, and having fun with a different theme each day.

Cooking Club Day: Learning kitchen skills and trying something new
Library Day: learning, and exploring new things
STEM Day: Hands-on activities, experiments, and problem-solving
Gym Day: Getting active, playing games, and having fun

What an incredible summer of Grand Slam!

From Game Night Kickoff and Wild Wild West to Summer Splash, Greek Unity Night, Project YOU, Grand Slam Carnival, and Family Fun Night, our teens experienced seven weeks filled with fun, friendship, learning, and unforgettable memories.

We challenged our teens to try new things, build confidence, connect with others, and simply enjoy their summer.

The stage was set, lights bright, music loud, and our campers gave it everything they had during our Michael Jackson Lip Sync Battle! From the iconic moves to the unforgettable performances, every group brought amazing energy to the dance floor.

Congratulations to all of our groups for putting on a fantastic show and making this one of the highlights of Mic Drop Madness Week! Great job, campers!
