Sept. 27, 1967 - Pittsburgh’s Bob Veale ends the season by holding the Dodgers to fives hits and striking out 12 in a 1-0 win.
Sept. 27, 1975 – BC defeats Baker 14-13 by stopping a running attempt at a two-point conversion in the final minute in Baldwin City. Dave Gorski scores on a 47-yard TD run and quarterback Rob Winkler scores on a 1-yard run for the Ravens.
Sept. 27, 1986 – Quarterback Guy Mannella runs 85 yards for a score in Benedictine’s 42-10 win over William Jewell on homecoming in front of 3,000 fans. Mannella completes touchdown passes of 69 and 8 yards to Tom Atteberry and 39 to Curt Marchand.

Sept. 20, 1958 – Fullback Jerry Mohlman scores on a 2-yard run with 45 seconds remaining to hand St. Benedict’s a 20-14 win at Hastings (Neb.). Quarterback Mark Flynn sets up the score with a 19-yard pass to Larry M**f and a 43-yard pass to Henry Tenorio.
Sept. 20, 1982 – Rob Hibbard and Brian Preis score for the Ravens in a 2-0 win over Southeast Missouri State.
Sept. 20, 1986 – Halfback Rich Weiner runs for four scores in No. 4 Benedictine’s 54-26 win at Central Methodist. The Ravens run for 431 yards, 67 by Weiner on 11 carries. Fullback Paul Torline carries six times for 98 yards and a touchdown.
Sept. 20, 1994 – John Bezdek and Brian Hansmann score in overtime to lift the Ravens to a 5-3 win over Westmar (Iowa).

Sept. 19, 1983 – Benedictine is No. 1 in the first NAIA men’s soccer poll of the season, the school’s first time in the top spot. The Ravens are 5-1.
Sept. 19, 1987 – Tim Hand scores on a header in overtime to give Benedictine a 2-1 win at Kansas Newman.
Sept. 19, 1992 – No. 11 BC defeats No. 15 William Jewell 42-20 in its first game as a member of the Heart of America Conference in Atchison. Tailback Don Brown rushes for 239 yards on 20 carries, 18 short of Jamie Mueller’s 1984 mark, with four runs of 36 yards or more and touchdowns of 36 and 39.

Sept. 16, 1967 – Joe Laffleur scores with 17:48 remaining to give the Ravens a 1-0 win over the Air Force Academy in Atchison.
Sept. 16, 1995 – No. 21 BC routs William Jewell 43-8 at Liberty, Mo., to defeat the Cardinals for the ninth time in 11 meetings. Dan Kenney starts the scoring with a 51-yard run in the first quarter. A 23-yard run by Eric Pitts gives the Ravens a 23-0 lead at halftime.

Sept. 15, 1950 – St. Benedict’s defeats Sterling 32-7 in coach Leo Deutsch’s first game. Frank Ceresia carries 10 times for 150 yards in front of 2,000 fans at Amelia Earhart Stadium.
Sept. 15, 1982 – Ravens safety Randy Dreiling and tailback Mike Weber earn NAIA District 10 player of the week honors after a 30-10 win over No. 13 Missouri Western. Dreiling intercepted two passes and recorded a sack. Weber scored on a 90-yard kickoff return, a 46-yard reception and a 1-yard run.
Sept. 15, 1984 – Jamie Mueller sets the BC rushing record with 215 yards on 10 carries in a 34-27 win over Concordia (Neb.) at Amelia Earhart Stadium. The school’s previous mark was 209 yards by Keith Hertling in 1976. Mueller scores on runs of 75 and 81 yards.
Sept. 15, 1998 - Maureen Flanagan scores both goals for BC in a 2-0 win at St. Mary’s (Kan.). Sarah Zielinski earned Heart of America Conference player of the week honors after scoring the winning goal against Doane and an assist on the deciding goal vs. William Jewell.
Sept. 15, 2001 – Coach Larry Wilcox wins his 150th game with No. 6 BC’s 31-0 win over Avila at Raven Stadium. Josh McAlister runs for 92 yards on 18 carries and scores three touchdowns.
Sept. 15, 2007 – Jesse Thomas runs for 147 yards on 20 carries in a 23-13 win over Avila in Atchison.
Sept. 15, 2012 – No. 6 Benedictine scores on five of its six first-half possessions on the way to a 48-0 win at Graceland. Running back Cameron Fore rushes for 100 yards and scores on a 26-yard run.
