🏁 Back to Willard Tonight 🏁

The CM Motorsports team is headed back to Willard Speedway tonight, and this time we’re rolling in A-Mod trim.

We’ve made the changes, put the work in, and now it’s time to get some laps against the A-Mod field and see exactly where we stand.

Same car. Bigger challenge. More to learn.

The goal tonight is simple — get better, find more speed, and keep building toward the big race ahead.

Willard, round two. Let’s go see what the has got. 👊🏁

🏁 Time to Go Racing With the Big Boys 🏁

We’ve got the program. We’ve got the car. Now it’s time to see where we stand.

The CM Motorsports team is making the jump into A-Mod competition as we start preparing for the big race coming up.

Same — just stepping up to another level of competition.

We’ve spent the year proving what this program can do in the Sport Mod ranks. Now it’s time to throw a little more at it, line up with the big boys, and see what we’ve got. 👊

No expectations, no excuses — just looking to learn, get faster, and find out exactly where our program stacks up.

And that’s not the only CM Motorsports machine hitting the track this weekend.

Shane Rickman will also be at Willard Speedway tonight, representing our Kart Racing Division and battling it out in the AKRA Light class.

Two different programs. Two nights. Same team. Same goal.

🏁 FUELING ALL KINDS OF HORSEPOWER AT CM MOTORSPORTS 🏁

Around here, it’s not always race cars and go-karts that need fueled up. Sometimes you’ve gotta make sure the original horsepower is ready to go too. 😂🐎

The crew traded wrenches for hay bales and spent a little time making sure the race horses were fed and ready for their next event.

Whether it’s four wheels, a kart, or four legs… if it races, chances are somebody around CM Motorsports is involved with it. 😂

🏁 CM MOTORSPORTS IS GROWING 🏁

We’re excited to announce the addition of a Kart Racing Division to CM Motorsports and welcome Shane Rickman of Rickman Kart Racing to the team.

Shane brings years of experience, a winning background, and a strong knowledge of kart racing that makes him a great fit for what we’re building.

For us, this is about more than adding another class. Karting is where a lot of racers get their start, learn racecraft, and build the foundation for everything that comes next. We’re excited to bring that side of motorsports into CM and help represent the next generation of racers.

We’re proud to have Shane aboard and looking forward to seeing what this new chapter brings.

🏁 A Different Kind of Race Weekend! 🏁

No racing for the CM Motorsports team this week. Instead, the crew is headed to Eldora Speedway to sit back, enjoy some racing, and take in the action from the other side of the fence for a change. 😂

Sometimes it’s good to trade the wrenches for a seat in the stands and just enjoy the sport we all love.

We’ll be back at it soon, but this weekend we’re just race fans. 👊🏁

🏁 WINNER WINNER! 🏁

The got it done at Portsmouth Raceway Park against what was easily one of the toughest Sport Mod fields gathered at one track so far this year.

Big field. Fast cars. No easy laps.

Chase and the crew put together a complete night and brought home another feature win for CM Motorsports. 👊🏁

No puppy kicking tonight. 😂

🏁 Race Recap – Portsmouth Raceway Park 🏁

Last night started exactly the way we wanted it to for the .

Chase came out of the gate and laid down quick time, then backed it up in Heat Race #1 by jumping out front and checking out on the field for the first couple laps.

Unfortunately, after the first caution, the driveshaft came out on the restart and ended our heat race early.

The crew went straight to work, got the car repaired, and had the ready to go again for the feature. With the heat race ending early, we had to start from the inside of Row 9 and had plenty of ground to make up.

Chase went to work.

The car had speed, and he steadily drove his way forward, making it all the way up to 6th before the big one broke loose in front of him. Cars were stacking up everywhere, and with nowhere to go, the got collected in the wreck.

Definitely a tough way to end a night that started with so much promise, but the biggest takeaway is simple — we had a fast race car.

Quick time. Checked out in the heat. Drove from deep in the field to 6th.

Sometimes the results don’t tell the whole story.

We’ll get the back in the shop, get everything straightened out, and come back ready to do it again. 👊🏁
