What a weekend for these boys — 4-0 and CHAMPIONS! 💪⚾️
🔥 On the mound:
7 pitchers combined for 18 innings with a 2.67 ERA, 18 strikeouts and only 6 walks!
💥 Leading the offense:
⚾ Thomas Ray — .571/.727/.714, scoring an incredible 9 runs
⚾ Lawson Fox — .556/.556/.556, driving in a team-leading 6 RBIs
🧱 Behind the plate:
Our catchers held opponents to just 4 stolen bases all weekend!
⚾ Karson Reagan — threw out 1 runner + 1 back pick
⚾ Kinsler — threw out 1 runner
4 games. 4 wins. CHAMPS. 🏆

828 Sports Lab is proud to host Coach Trent Mongero and Dirt Bro’s Baseball Academy to Western North Carolina for a Private Camp in September!

This is limited to Middle School and High School infielders looking to train with the best infield coach in the US!

🏆⚾️ CHAMPIONS! ⚾️🏆
Congratulations to SLB 11U on bringing home the Shipyard Park Grand Championship!
This group battled all week long, finishing with an impressive 5-1 record and saving their best for last. After falling to a team in pool play, they earned another shot and made the most of it—defeating that same team in the championship game to claim the title!
🔥 Dominant performances on the mound fueled the championship run:
⚾ Kinlser – Complete Game, 2 Runs Allowed
⚾ Nash – 6 Innings, 1 Run Allowed
⚾ Jase – 6 Innings, 1-Hit Shutout
At the plate, this team was relentless:
💥 .497 Team On-Base Percentage
💥 4 Players with an OPS over 1.000
Championship teams are built on resilience, and these boys showed exactly that all weekend—responding to adversity, playing for each other, and competing with confidence when it mattered most.

SLB 14U goes 4-0 for the weekend to bring back the CHAMPIONSHIP for the World Series in Charlotte. Super proud of this team and coaches for their commitment to the game and each other.

🏆⚾️ Congratulations to the SLB 14U Tennessee State Championship Team! ⚾️🏆
This group battled all weekend, finishing with a 4-1 record and bringing home the Tennessee State Championship title!
What makes this team special is that these players come from multiple schools and communities, but when they put on the SLB jersey, they become one family. They compete for each other, support each other, and represent what the Lab is all about.
As an added bonus, the team gained a new mascot this weekend—“Terry the Turf”—who quickly became part of the championship run! 😂
We are incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and teamwork this group displayed throughout the tournament. Championships are earned through commitment, and this team showed exactly what it means to be a Lab family.
Way to represent, boys! The future is bright. 💪🔥
