17 years later. 🥹⛳️

Same tree. Same passion. Just a very different role.

The photo on the left was taken in 2009 during my time playing golf at Westfield. We didn’t have a school photographer for golf that year, so Coach Erika Larkin had the brilliant idea to take our own photos around Pleasant Valley. I’m really glad she did, because 17 years later I found myself standing in the exact same spot. This time, I’m the coach. 💛🖤🏌️‍♀️💜

There were a lot of years, rounds of golf, lessons, opportunities, setbacks, and growth between these two pictures. I definitely didn’t know where this game would take me when that first photo was taken.

I also wouldn’t be where I am today without the coaches who helped me along the way. Erika was a huge part of those Westfield years, and a special shoutout to Tarah Schloss, who became my coach in 2010. One of the coolest full-circle parts of my career is that Tarah and I are now peers in the LPGA. Pretty amazing considering I was once the kid taking lessons from her.

And shoutout to Pleasant Valley Golf Club for still having the same tree 17 years later!😂

There’s something pretty special about coming back to a place that holds so many memories and realizing that now I get to help create those memories for another generation of golfers.

The funniest part? I’m doing it as a coach for our rival school. 😂 I may wear purple these days, but I’ll always be a Bulldog. 💛🖤

2009 ➡️ 2026. Pretty cool to see where this game has taken me.

Many golfers spend the summer working on their swing but never learn the rules, course management, match procedures, and competitive skills that can make a difference during tryouts and tournaments.

Join me for a 4-week High School Golf Pre-Season Prep Program.

Students will learn:
