⛳ NEW TO GOLF TIP #3: AVOID SLOW PLAY
Golf is more enjoyable for everyone when groups keep up with the group ahead of them.
Here are a few simple ways to keep things moving:
🚶Walk briskly between shots
⛳ Bring a couple of clubs with you when heading to your ball
🗣️ Play "ready golf"—if you're ready and it's safe to hit, go ahead
⏱️ Keep practice swings to a minimum and stay within your pre-shot routine
Remember, you don't need to rush your shot—you just want to be ready when it's your turn.
Follow along as we continue our New to Golf series. Next up, we'll cover how to take care of the golf course and leave it in great condition for the groups behind you.

⛳ NEW TO GOLF TIP #3: THE FIRST TEE
For many new golfers, the first tee can feel a little intimidating – but don’t worry, we’ve all been there.
Before your round: check in at the golf shop when you arrive, head over to the first tee 10-15 minutes before your tee time, and let the starter know you’re there and ready to play!
Most importantly, relax and have fun. Nobody expects perfection, and every golfer remembers what it was like to play their first round.
Stay tuned for our next New to Golf tip – pace of play.

⛳ NEW TO GOLF TIP #2: WARM UP
A little preparation before your round can go a long way. Try to arrive 20-30 minutes before your tee time so you can loosen up and get comfortable before hitting the first tee.
Start with a few easy stretches, hit some balls on the driving range using multiple clubs, and spend a couple minutes on the putting green to get the right feel.
Follow along for more New to Golf tips as we make our way onto the golf course.
