Full alternate jersey reveal for our Silver Anniversary season (25th). The Xtreme will still be rocking our Whites and Reds - and also mixing in our new Black uniforms during the 2026-27 season!

We will also be using our 25 Year Logo as our helmet sticker this season. The X-man is getting a one year rest.

We play the majority of our games in the CBHL (Chesapeake Bay Hockey League) and the Atlantic Hockey Federation. Expect 60+ games and practice twice per week (mix of full and half ice practices).

The Head Coach is our Hockey Director - Former Canadian Jr. player (OHL Draft Pick), NCAA player/coach, and minor professional player.

The Ashburn Xtreme will be starting its 25th Season on Tuesday August 18th, 2026 with team practices at the Ashburn Ice House. Ashburn has been one of the most successful USA Hockey Tier 2 organizations in the country for three decades, beginning with our first season is 2002-03.

* 5 USA Hockey National Championships (2013, 2015, 2021 (x2), and 2022).
* 100 CBHL (Chesapeake Bay Hockey League) Regular Season Championships.

As we enter our Silver Anniversary season, a new look to celebrate our history and longevity as a premiere hockey club will be on display. We have added a third alternate jersey for the 2026-27 season.

Calling all goalies! Our Xtreme U18 UA team is looking for a goaltender for the upcoming season. The U18 UA team practices just once per week so it doesn't take over your entire schedule. 14U, 16U, and 18U teams for the 2026-27 season...

25th Year of Ashburn Xtreme Hockey.

Teams Offered -

2012 Birth Year - 14U AA - USA Hockey Nationals Bound (West Chester, PA). Led by Troy MacCormick, in his 25th Year as Hockey Director and Xtreme Head Coach. Expectations are always high on a MacCormick coached team.

2013 Birth Year - 13U AA (AHF)/14U UA (CBHL)- Head Coach Alex Guerere. 6th year as Head Coach in the Ashburn Xtreme. Played at the University of Delaware. This team is building a talented group and developing as a team for the next 2 seasons...as they will be USA Hockey Nationals bound in the 2027-28 season. Get on the train now!!

14U Mix - This team will play CBHL and AHF 14U A level and will be comprised of players who are not selected for the 2012 or 2013 birth year teams. Perfect for those that just missed the birth year team and want to come together, continue their development at the A level and play under the Ashburn Xtreme development model. Many 14U X players advance to birth year and AA the following year. Coach TBD.

16U AA #1 and 18U AA teams will be headed by Coach Gary Pouliot, the Executive Director of the AXHC for the last 21 years. Both teams are USA Hockey National bound (16U in Perinton, NY and 18U in Madison, WI). Gary will return to coach our top Midget aged players having won USA Hockey Nationals on two occassions. All teams can be mixed aged. 16U is for 2010 and 2011 born players. 18U is for 2008 and 2009 born players.

16U AA #2 and 18U A will be coached by Nate Lauterstein, a longtime head and assistant coach it the club. This will be Nate's 9th year as a head coach of an Ashburn Xtreme team.

16U A is led by Jason Furtek, he will be leading an Xtreme team for the 4th year. A fantastic local player and coach, Jason's team will focus on player skill development and team play so that his players can compete for AA positions the next season.
