What's Up? Wednesday - Featuring local events coming up soon!

Help raise money for a local Arvada elementary! Sunday October 4th at 9:00am is the 6th Annual Strides for Sierra 5K run/walk fundraiser at Sierra Elementary.

Get your sweat on running or enjoy a leisurely stroll through the beautiful neighborhood surrounding Sierra Elementary! Starting at 10:00am the little ones can participate in a 1K fun run. Afterwards, stay and enjoy the Race Village with vendors, food, drinks, and activities for the kids, all while supporting the Sierra Elementary PTA!

What's Up? Wednesday - Bonus! Another race happening right at the tap house.

Come out to the 4th annual Colorado Terry Fox Run on Sunday, September 20th. Last year's walk/run was a resounding success, with an incredible turnout from our community! Together, we surpassed our fundraising goal, raising over $6,000 to support cancer research in honor of Terry Fox’s enduring legacy.

This year, we are raising money for osteosarcoma research being done at CU Anschutz Cancer Center and the Flint Animal Cancer Center at Colorado State University. This is especially significant as Terry was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, an aggressive form of bone cancer, in his right leg when he was 18. Terry's dream was to find a cure for this and other cancers.

Happening right at the Tap House...the Marine Memorial 5k on September 19th. The race benefits THE United States Marine Corps Memorial dedicated "to all Marines for all time" to "Honor Marines and remember all who serve". Lives are changed when veterans visit the Memorial - learn more on the web site at Https://USMCMemorialFoundation.org

Funds help maintain flags, lights, and what we have until funds can be raised to remodel the memorial.

Support the team that Erik coaches! Join the Demon Dash! Sept 5th

Lace up your shoes and join us for the Demon Dash at its new course at the NAAC! We're excited to bring this course its new home and onto dirt! Whether you are a runner or walker, this will be a fun community event for all.

This year's race will follow the high school races at the Demons Invite, so make plans to come on out early to support them before you race. High school races start at 8:15am.

The Demon Dash is on Saturday September 5, 2026.

Doing a "What's Up Wednesday" a little early... just a reminder, our Pints and Pups event is THIS SATURDAY! With that is our Bark n' Bolt 1k!

A fun run with your dog event you don't want to miss! This year, all finishers get a CTH logo'd collapsible dog bowl!

Top three dogs and their humans get pint glasses! Plus, the overall winner will get a place on the wall of champs!

It's FREE to come and run. Stay for the expo, trivia, and dog contest!

The Bark n' Bolt 1K with the Pints and Pups Dog Expo is on Saturday August 22, 2026.
