250 sessions strong. 💪

Congratulations to David Afraimi on hitting a HUGE milestone at OTA!

David shows up ready to move better, lift some heavy things, get stronger…and occasionally provide some very strong opinions about the gym playlist. 😆

According to Coach Shannon, those music recommendations are usually well received, especially when they lead to a few dance moves breaking out during the session.

David, we love the energy, positivity, and banter you bring every time you walk through the doors.

Here's to 250 sessions and everything still ahead. 👏

This is what we mean when we say fitness should support your life.

When Chad first came to OTA, shoulder pain and limited mobility were affecting more than just his workouts.

There were days when even picking up his two-year-old daughter was difficult.

Fast forward to today, and he says he's been largely pain-free in his shoulder for the past few months.

That's the kind of progress that matters.

We're here to help you to do more of the things you want, and be there for the people that matter to you.

We're incredibly proud to see Barbara Parker hit her 100 session milestone!

Barbara came to OTA looking to get stronger and feel healthier and 100 sessions later she has certainly achieved that goal.

Her dedication to showing up 2x a week has been inspiring. Congrats Barbara and keep up the amazing work 💪

Mobility is more than just about how far you can stretch.

It’s your ability to access a range of motion, control it, and use it when you train and move through everyday life.

That might mean reaching overhead comfortably, getting down to the floor, rotating without restriction, or feeling more confident under load.

The goal is to build enough usable movement to keep doing the things that matter to you.

That’s what we explored during our last mobility workshop at OTA.

Is two days a week really enough?

It's a question we hear all the time.

It's all about what you can consistently do, and what you do with those sessions.

Two days a week.
A plan built around you.
Progressive strength training.
And enough consistency to let it all add up.

Over time, the weights get heavier. You get stronger. And you start seeing the difference.

You just have to keep showing up.

Sometimes progress means changing the plan.

After dealing with a partially torn rotator cuff, she stepped away from OTA for a few weeks and tried physical therapy.

But she knew one thing about herself: working out at home on her own wasn't going to happen.

So she came back.

Coach Rob adjusted her programming around her shoulder and continued working with her as it improved.

Then recently, she had a realization:

**"I'm at 100% on it."**

That's why individualized coaching matters.

The goal is to build the program around the person standing in front of us.

We're big believers that progress isn't built by crushing yourself for a few weeks. It's built by following a plan that fits your life and sticking with it long enough for it to matter.

Swipe through to celebrate the OTA members who hit 80% or more of their prescribed exercise sessions in July.

Different percentages. Different people. Different training plans.

But the thing they all have in common? They kept showing up.

Great work, everyone. Let's keep building. 💪

Anyone can write a workout.

Coaching is something different.

It's knowing when to push.
Knowing when to pull back.
And knowing how to adjust when life throws you a curveball.

When Emily came in after suffering an ankle injury, Coach Rob modified the session so she could continue making progress instead of sitting on the sidelines.

That's the difference between following a program and having a coach.

Picture yourself at 70 or 80... traveling, moving under your own power, and keeping up with your grandkids instead of watching from the sidelines.

That picture tends to matter more than any short-term aesthetic goal.

The “marginal decade” is the final decade of your life, whenever it occurs. It’s the period when physical capacity can have the greatest influence on how independently and fully you experience life.

The work you do now helps shape what that decade can look like.

We’re not training only for today’s workout. We’re building strength, capacity, and freedom for the life still ahead.

Congrats to Leslie Johnson reaching her 100th session milestone.

"Leslie is one of the hardest workers (in the gym and in her career) that I have ever witnessed. She's an incredible human with the cutest lil midwestern accent. Leslie, it has been a pleasure being your coach and to be here with you through this crazy thing called life! So proud of you!"
