Invictus - Team Unconquerable Family:

I want to share something important with you.

Our friends at The Pilates Effect, a local Arlington business across the street, recently suffered a catastrophic fire that destroyed their studio. In a matter of moments, Cami and her team lost the physical home of a community they have worked incredibly hard to build.

When people in our community are knocked down, we believe in helping them get back up.

For the next few weeks, The Pilate Effect will temporarily use the Invictus Foundation / Team Unconquerable Training Center during hours when we are not holding classes. This will not impact or change our Invictus class schedule.

You may see some new faces coming and going from the training center, and I’m asking our Invictus family to do what you have always done: welcome them, encourage them, and make them feel at home.

This is more than simply sharing our training center. It is an opportunity to live out what we teach.

Being Unconquerable doesn’t mean we never face hardship. It means hardship doesn’t get the final word. And when someone in our community gets knocked down, we have an opportunity to reach out a hand and help them stand again.

That is exactly what we are going to do.

Please join me in welcoming Cami, her team, and the Pilate Effect family to Invictus as they navigate the weeks ahead and begin rebuilding.

This is what community looks like.
