Welcome Back, Coach Reese Ness! 🏐

Arlington Baptist University Athletics is excited to welcome back Coach Reese Ness as the newest Assistant Volleyball Coach and Sports Information Director.

A proud ABU alumna and 2025 graduate, Reese returns to the ABU volleyball Program after a collegiate career under Head Coach Kristi McDaniel from 2021–2025. During her time as a Patriot, Reese was a part of the 2024 NCCAA DII National Championship team.

Originally from East Texas and a graduate of Gilmer High School’s Class of 2021, Reese chose Arlington Baptist University to continue both her academic and volleyball career. Since then, she has built valuable experience both on and off the court through years of coaching and leadership.

In her new role as Assistant Volleyball Coach, Reese brings a strong understanding of the program’s culture, a passion for player development both athletically and spiritually, and firsthand experience competing at the collegiate level. In addition to coaching, she will also serve as Sports Information Director, bringing her knowledge and creativity to ABU Athletics.
