From the kid who needed a chance to the young man creating chances for others. ❤️⚽️
Meet Alan. He found us in 5th grade even though we didn’t have a team for his age yet. He kept showing up, kept training, and eventually made his middle school team, won Rookie of the Year, and became an athlete with Arlington Soccer.
But what makes us most proud isn’t what Alan has accomplished on the field. Since 6th grade, he has given 211+ hours of community service, coaching and mentoring younger Warriors at practices, and tournaments across the DMV.
Alan recently lost his father to cancer. At just 13, he is now helping carry the responsibility of being the oldest of three. Through all of it, he continues to show up for his family, his teammates, and the kids who look up to him.
He knows what it feels like to need someone to believe in you. Now, he’s that person for someone else. We’re incredibly proud to nominate Alan as a CVS Health Home Team Hero with CVS Pharmacy
Help us celebrate Alan and the ripple effect he is creating: one kid, one practice, and one act of kindness at a time.
