Want to add efficient energy production, higher energy, higher focus, lower blood pressure while maintaining a high level of output?

TAPE YOUR MOUTH WHEN YOU TRAIN

Mouth breathing kills the engine that’s running the Ferrari. That puts you in high blood pressure, lower energy efficiency and lower focus (think slower, weaker and dumber).

Train your body to nasal breathe during athletic performance and the engine in the Ferrari will start responding like an engine in a Jet. 🏃🏻‍♂️ Spear Training Center🎯 , Body In Motion

If you want to take a little strength, speed, endurance and mental clarity out of every one of your workouts, keep breathing through the mouth…..

Mouth breathing has been shown to -
Increase blood pressure and hr
Lower blood flow to the brain
Hurt balance and coordination
Increase Cortisol
Lower oxygen delivery to muscles
Less sleep and recovery
Pretty much where an athlete does NOT want to be….Turn your breath into a weapon

When you train your body to adapt to CO2 build-up up, you are training the engine that runs EVERYTHING.

In 1904, Dr Christian Bohr discovered that in order for oxygen to be dropped off in the blood, there has to be CO2 present. Less CO2 in the blood , less oxygen delivery to your muscles.

Doing daily breath holds trains your body to get used to the accumulation of CO2. Why does this matter for you, the athlete?

The longer you can go without the need to breathe harder - think breathing efficiently - during any athletic event, you keep more CO2 in the blood , where it helps get more O2 delivered to the muscles, giving YOU, the athlete, a constant and continual influx of muscular energy whereas your opponent will gas out sooner.

That’s the difference between winning and losing.

Any sport and any athlete can improve their power, speed, endurance and swing capacity by holding their breath and training within their sport.

Example - Boxers hold their breath and punch the bas as hard and fast as possible for 6 seconds , then rest for 24 seconds, making a 30 second “Block”. Repeat 8 x’s at the end of the workout for 4 weeks….not only you, but YOUR OPPONENT will feel the difference.

Rocking the Ancient Tummo (Wim Hof) Breathwork with Laura BoxingBelles 👊
This breathwork practice helps eliminates pro-inflammatory cytokines in the blood, helping athletes recover as well as decrease inflammation from the workouts. Another aspect for athletes is that it helps train the athlete to deal with the accumulation of CO2 in the blood - this helps get O2 to the muscles in greater quantity and efficiency during the game, fight or match.
It’s also been known to help improve sleep and increase immunity as well. A few other comments I’ve received from athletes that have added this to their training:
“My sleep is insane awesome”
“I can feel the difference in my energy….much better recovery”
“Def feel more chill. This is meditation for me”
It only takes 10 min/day to activate your body’s natural defense mechanisms against stress, both cellular and mental. Find out more Breathletics , link in bio- Tuen your breath into a weapon

The diaphragm is a muscle, just like your quads and glutes…so why aren’t you training it weekly like you do those other muscles ? ESPECIALLY because it’s the engine that runs the system.

Spend dozens of hours per week in the gym building, but you’ve got a weak and undertrained diaphragm?

It’s like having a Ferrari with no tires. Great looking body but can’t move for s**t……

Better breathing, higher performance

When you take the first 3-5 minutes after your workout and incorporate slow nasal breathing, a few things happen that are of upmost importance of any athlete at any level…..

Lower cortisol and increased collagen. You put your body out of stress mode from the workout and into “relax and recover” mode by staying off of your computer, phone or out of your “monkey brain” with tasks or jobs you have to do.

Higher growth hormone pulse. By lowering cortisol, you allow the growth hormone to have an even bigger effect on growth and recovery. Higher stress = lower growth hormone pulse.

Get more blood to your brain and to your muscles. When you aren’t going from the stress of a workout to the stress that life’s throwing at you, you lower your bp, hr and you get more blood to the brain. The slow breathing keeps more CO2 in the blood, which acts as a vasodilator, opening up all thousands and thousands of blood vessels, making it easier on your heart and allowing blood to flow to your brain w less constriction.

EVERYONE should do breath hold training…..even if you are sedentary and eat like s**t. Breath holding has now been proven to provide benefits and unlock healing processes in your body that used to cost TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars to obtain ……

*Spike in growth hormone

*EPO release (Lance Armstrong had to shoot this into his blood, you are doing it au naturale) - This means you get extra RBC’s in the blood. That means more energy can be delivered to your muscles during athletic performance.

*Stem Cell Activation

*Higher Resting Hemoglobin - meaning you can now transport the extra O2 with more hemoglobin. Again, great for energy but also healing and recovery.

This is your body’s natural biology. Unlock what you already have, and keep yourself away from Big Pharma.
