💛 WEAR YELLOW — SEPTEMBER 30 💛
September 30 is the final day of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re going GOLD at Burn Asheville.
On Wednesday, wear YELLOW to camp as we honor the children and families who have faced childhood cancer—those still fighting, those who have finished treatment, the survivors, and the precious children we remember. 💛
For one of our own Burn families, childhood cancer became very personal this past year when Emily’s daughter, Addie, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. After months of chemotherapy, a rotationplasty, surgeries, and more than any child should ever have to endure, Addie finished treatment this spring. Today, she’s back doing what she loves—including riding horses and getting stronger every day. 💛
September may be coming to an end, but our support for these kids and their families doesn’t.
Let’s fill Burn Asheville with GOLD on Wednesday.
💛 Wear yellow.
💛 Show up.
💛 Work hard.
💛 Stand with kids fighting cancer.
