Carp Fest 2026, this Sunday! Come join us for a slew of activities in Ruihley Park, with fun for all ages! This event, co-hosted with Archbold Area Chamber of Commerce will be a memorable one! Food, live music, vendors, kids activities, and water ball with Archbold German Township Fire Department! Come check it out Sunday, 11am-3pm!

**When entering the park, you can only enter through the Holland Street entrance, as the Williams Street entrance will be closed. Parking all along Williams Street and limited parking near the Pickleball Courts/Pool

TOMORROW is the last day to register for Battle of the Paddles Pickleball Tournament! Will be a great weekend in Ruihley Park with the tournament and Carp Fest, come join us!

Entry: $40 per team
Location: Ruihley Park Pickleball Courts
Format: Double Elimination Bracket, Best 2 of 3 games in bracket play, one game (first to 15) in consolation bracket

Divisions:
Men's Doubles Division (Adult) - Saturday
-Novice, Advanced, Senior (60+)
Women's Doubles Division (Adult) - Saturday
-Novice, Advanced, Senior (60+)
Mixed Doubles Division (Adult) - Sunday
-Novice, Advanced, Senior (60+)
(Will only field skill categories if registrations allow)

Tournament Format: USA Pickleball Association Official Tournament Rules Apply. (Even though this is not a sanctioned event)
-Each match is best of 3 games in winners bracket, games to 11 (win by 2)
-Consolation bracket: 1 game to 15, first to 15

The registration deadlines for Youth Soccer Grades K-4 and Youth Volleyball Grades 2-5 are approaching! Deadline for both is September 6th. $30 registration, must be PAID to be placed on a team!

As we flip the calendar to September tomorrow it was important for us to once again recognize all the businesses, individuals and organizations that made it possible for the Archbold Pool to be free to all this summer. What a tremendous summer we had with almost 10,000 swimmers during public swim!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE! We are so grateful for the support our community constantly gives to the Parks & Recreation Department! See you at the pool in 2027!
