How we present ourselves matters.

A clean uniform, tucked-in academy T-shirt, and properly tied belt help students build pride, confidence, and attention to detail before class even begins.

We encourage all students — especially our younger ones — to practice tying their own belt at home. It may take a little time, but learning to do it independently is part of building responsibility and confidence.

Parents, taking a few minutes to practice this at home can make a big difference. The goal isn’t perfection — it’s teaching students to take pride in themselves and come to class ready to be their best!

“Last one, BEST one!!!” is a common chant in our karate classes.

Reinforcing endurance, perseverance, positive attitudes, and giving your personal best!

A great reminder today as we took Mr. Joshua A. Chudacoff’s last Saturday morning Adult Karate class.

We are so thankful for his dedication to excellence, constant encouragement, wisdom, creativity, and of course… GREAT workouts! 💪🔥

Mr. Chudacoff has brought so much energy and passion to the mat, always finding ways to challenge, inspire, and bring out the best in those around him.

He ended class with 5 reminders for life:

1. Be present.

2. Continue to reinvent yourselt and push out of your comfort zone - that is where growth occurs.

3. Find a team - surround yourself with people that make you the best version of yourself.

4. Stay humble; it's not about being right, it's about getting it right.

5. You always can choose to be the hardest worker in the room.

You will be missed, Sir! 💙🥋

Keep being awesome, keep leading by example, and keep making a difference in our community.

But this isn’t goodbye… it’s “see you around!”

Our Birthday Belt gives students a chance to step in front of their classmates, feel the excitement, and enjoy a celebration that the entire class gets to be part of!!! 👏
