🏁 RACE SCHEDULE UPDATE 🏁

It’s race day… but NOT for us! 😅

As much as we’d love to head back to GSR tonight for fun, we decided it’s time to focus on finishing out our season strong at Little Buckaroo & preparing for The Maxxdaddy before returning to GSR for the Badger50 💪🏁

We hope everyone racing tonight has a safe, fun night! We’ll be watching along on MyRacePass and cheering you all on from home! 👀🏎️💨

🏁 RACE DAY RECAP | ROAD AMERICA – WEEKEND SERIES 🏁

The first Saturday points race we’ve attended ALL season, which means… THE BIG(ger) TRACK! 🏎️💨

We showed up with one goal: keep Landon’s skills sharp for the Enduro race at the end of the month. And while this layout is usually one of his favorites, today it quickly became our biggest enemy.

We just couldn’t seem to find the speed through the bigger section of the track, and that’s where we continued to lose time throughout the day. On top of that, Landon was coming off the track with a HOT axle every time, so Dad spent the day trying different things to help him find some speed and get the kart working better. 🔧

A random draw put us starting P6 in Heat 1 and P4 in Heat 2.

🔥 HEAT 1: P6 ➡️ P6

🔥 HEAT 2: An AMAZING start sent Landon straight to the lead for the first lap before eventually getting passed. P4 ➡️ up to P1 ➡️ finishing P3 *

🏁 FEATURE: P5 ➡️ up to P3 ➡️ finishing P6

Not the results Landon was looking for today, but sometimes race days are about working with what you’ve got. And Landon worked his butt off with the kart he had and the competition he was up against. 💪

Big track. Tough day. Valuable laps. 🏁💙💛

🏁 RACE DAY RECAP | GSR KARTWAY

It was SO nice being back at GSR Kartway! We got to see people we haven’t seen in a while, race under the lights ✨, and do what we love!

Time away never seems to affect Landon at this track. He hit the track for practice like he had never missed a week! 💨🔥

Our pill draw put him on the outside for both heat races, but Landon went to work!
