Five players scored during the Golden Bear’s 7–0 win over the Hillsdale Falcons in a Wayne County Athletic match. Gavin Sarver led the effort with his first two varsity goals and three assists. Senior Jace Hilty added two goals and an assist, while Bronson Wickens, Cordell Troyer, and Dominic Cerniglia completed the scoring. Ernesto Reyes provided an assist, and goalkeeper Jace Hilty maintained his strong form with his third shutout of the season.

On Saturday, the Waynedale Middle School cross-country runners ran at the Spartan Invitational at Boardman High School. Due to student athletes either being on vacation, or having other sporting event commitments, Waynedale had only three runners race. However, everyone ran a personal best time in the large competitive races!

For the girls,
Madisyn Euga shaved over a minute off her best time and placed 71st in the Division 4 race and 169th out of 226 runners with D3 & D4 combined.

For the boys, Grayson Taylor took 33 seconds off his best time and placed 55th in Division 3 and 116th out of 291 with D3 & D4 combined.

Sawyer Conrad improved by 29 seconds and finished 80th in Division 3 and 161st out of 291 with D3 & D4 combined.

Great effort by each runner in the large races!🏃‍♂️🏃🏻‍♀️

Congratulations to the Waynedale Men's Cross Country team who had a 9th place showing at the 41st Annual Boardman Spartan Invite yesterday. They competed in the D3 Men's race with 42 total teams represented and 34 scoring teams. Congrats to David Byler who had a 13th place finish, earning him a new Adidas backpack (earned by top 40 per race). Scoring for the Bears were:

Congratulations to the Waynedale Women's Cross Country team who placed 8th yesterday in the D4 race at the Boardman Spartan Invite. There were 38 teams represented in this race with 20 complete teams for team scoring. Also congrats to Piper Polen who placed 9th earning her a new Adidas backpack (awarded to top 40 in each race throughout the day) Scoring for the Bears were:

The Waynedale Golden Bear Golf Team finished as runner up in the
15 team field State Farm Golf invitational tournament at Riceland today.

Earning top 10 individual medals

Varsity Volleyball: Waynedale takes all 4 games in their tri-match over Claymont 25-22, 25-16 and over Canton South 25-7, 25- 20. Way to go Lady Bears!!
