Bicycling on Purpose

Let’s get more people on bikes in Cumberland County, NC Government This morning I assisted Black Girls Do Bike in City of Fayetteville, NC Government with our young people.

Electric-assisted bicycles are playing an increasingly important role in North Carolina’s transportation system. As their use grows, so does the need for clear understanding of current regulations and how they impact safety, access, and future policy.

Join BikeWalk NC for an informative webinar on North Carolina e-bike regulations, featuring Steven Goodridge. This session will provide an overview of existing laws, clarify key distinctions among electric motorized cycles, and explore how these regulations may shape transportation moving forward. A Q&A session will follow.

CDC Eat Well Be Active

A box of goodies came today from Live to the Beat We have a new jump rope.

This weekend, Fayetteville representatives on the Livable Study Tour went to Winterville, NC to the bicycle playground at Hillcrest Park and met with the Safe Routes to School coordinator. The Mayor was a volunteer helping youth learn to ride bicycles.
