For the first time in about 200 years, a Przewalski’s horse foal has been born on the steppes of central Kazakhstan.
The little male arrived on August 22 to seven-year-old mare Tessa, one of the horses returned there in 2024.
He was soon standing, following his mom, and nursing, while conservationists say both are doing well under the reintroduction program.
