What a day for Team Kogen! 🥋🏅

On June 27, our youth team went 10-1 (including 2 walkover wins) and brought home 5 gold medals at the Newbreed Baltimore tournament.

The medals are exciting, but what makes us proudest is the discipline, sportsmanship, and hard work our students showed every time they stepped on the mats. Thank you to our coaches, parents, and teammates for your constant support.

In lieu of the parade, we will be hosting an adult/teen jiu-jitsu and muay thai open mat at Kogen Severna Park on Saturday, July 4th from 10am-11:30am for anyone who wants to train. Enjoy your holiday. Stay cool. Stay safe. Stay Kogen!

🇺🇸 Kogen Independence Day Parade – RESCHEDULED 🇺🇸

Due to anticipated excessive heat, the County will not be able to staff the parade with reserve officers in a way that would allow the event to be conducted safely and successfully.

As a result, the Severna Park Chamber of Commerce has made the decision to reschedule the parade to Saturday, July 11th.

🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Staging Area: Our Shepherd Lutheran Church

⚠️ Important: Benfield Road closes at 9:45 AM, and the parade officially begins at 10:00 AM. Please plan to arrive early.

🚲 Bikes and scooters are still welcome!
⛑️ Helmets are required for all children riding bikes or scooters.

🇺🇸 Dress for patriotism, bring your family, decorate your bikes and scooters, and join your Kogen family as we celebrate the 250th Anniversary of America’s Independence!
