We’re not looking for someone who just earned their certification.
We’re looking for an experienced personal trainer who has already put in the years, knows how to coach real people, and is ready for the right place to build the next stage of their career.
Maxed Out Fitness is an established boutique training studio in Annapolis with something many trainers spend years trying to build:
Clients who already value professional coaching.
We offer a premium training environment, competitive earning potential, flexible scheduling, an established client base, and the opportunity to grow alongside an expanding fitness, health and performance model.
As Maxed Out continues to expand into body composition, nutrition and Integrated Functional Medicine, we’re looking for trainers who want to grow with us — not simply fill hours on a gym floor.
Our standard:
3+ years of professional, in-gym/studio personal training experience
Nationally accredited PT certification
Current CPR/AED certification
Professional. Reliable. Exceptional with people.
If that's you, DM us “TRAINER.”
And if it’s not you — but someone immediately came to mind while reading this — please send this post to them. Sometimes the best people aren't looking at job boards.

Most people don’t need another extreme health strategy.
They need to consistently do the fundamentals that actually matter.
Strength. Cardiovascular fitness. Nutrition. Recovery.
What caught my attention in this research wasn’t just the relationship between resistance training and longevity. It was how attainable the amount of training associated with meaningful differences actually was.
That’s an important message for the person who thinks getting healthier means living in the gym or completely rebuilding their life.
It doesn’t.
But there’s an equally important distinction:
Doing enough to meaningfully improve your health and training to accomplish a specific goal are not necessarily the same thing.
Bigger goals require a more precise prescription.
Either way, the best program is the one you can execute consistently.
The body you'll live in at 70 is being built right now.
I took a deeper look at the research—and what I think it means in the real world—in my latest LinkedIn article:

And if this has you thinking about where you are now, where you want to be, and what it may actually take to get there—
start with a conversation.

If you’ve entered perimenopause or menopause and feel like you’re doing everything “right”—but your body is responding differently—there may be a physiological reason.
You’re eating well. You’re exercising. You may even be working harder than you used to.
Yet suddenly the weight settles differently. Belly fat becomes more stubborn.
Maintaining muscle takes more effort. Recovery slows. Sleep changes.
Menopause doesn’t break your metabolism. It changes the rules.
Changes in estrogen can affect fat distribution, lean muscle, insulin sensitivity, sleep, recovery, and the way your body responds to stress.
And that’s why simply telling women to eat less and exercise more misses so much of what is actually happening.
At Maxed Out Integrated Functional Medicine, our approach is different.
We look beyond body weight to evaluate body composition, lean muscle, metabolic markers, strength, nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, and recovery—then build a strategy around the individual.
The foundation comes first: training, nutrition, muscle preservation, movement, sleep, and recovery.
When clinically appropriate, physician-directed advanced therapies—including peptide-based therapies—may also be considered as tools to support that individualized strategy.
Not shortcuts. Tools.
The goal isn’t simply to make the number on the scale smaller.
The goal is to build a stronger, healthier, more metabolically resilient body for the decades ahead.
If what worked at 35 or 40 isn’t working the same way anymore, that doesn’t necessarily mean you need to try harder.
You may need a different strategy.
Swipe through the carousel. If some of this sounds familiar, send us a private message with the word “MENOPAUSE.” We’ll start with a conversation.
