Scenes from last year's Craft Show at Independence Lake County Park

A craft show by the beach? Yes, indeed!

The fourth annual Independence Lake Craft Show features talented local artisans, showcasing their creative talents. Crafters will be selling one-of-a-kind treasures that you won't find anywhere else!

On Saturday, September 26, spend the day browsing locally-made art, enjoying tasty treats from regional food truck favorites, or cruise our trails by foot or wheel, all while surrounded by beautiful scenery. The show opens at 10am and runs until 4pm.

It's official... the September 28 BioBlitz is a iNat Together event!

iNat Together is a campaign encouraging iNaturalist users to connect in person over nature. The BioBlitz at Freeman Environmental Education Center is a chance for students, families, and community naturalists to enjoy an afternoon of nature observation, appreciation, and documentation! The fun begins with an indoor iNaturalist training session, from 1pm-2pm. Then, from 2pm-4pm, folks will break into small teams and head outdoors to make and record observations in the forests, fields, and gardens of the Freeman EE Center.
