Friends of Ankeny Miracle Park/Inclusive Playground/Miracle League Field Ankeny Miracle Park is the All-Inclusive Playground & Miracle League Field facility in Ankeny.

Ankeny Miracle Park is located in Hawkeye Park next to Terrace Elementary School and provides non-competitive co-ed Miracle League baseball leagues for children and adults with special needs, volunteer Buddies to assist and protect players during play, an obstacle-free accessible ball field surface, and an over 14,000 square foot sized all-inclusive playground that includes accessible equipment, equipment often found at other playgrounds, and equipment that encourages children of all abilities to play together.

**POSTPONED**
Rescheduling Tonight's All-Star Night

Rain, rain, go away!!! 🙁

Friends, soooooo sorry to let you know that tonight's/Tuesday night's Ankeny Miracle League All-Star Night is postponed.

Parks & Recreation staff met at the Miracle Field just a bit ago and determined that it is too slippery to safely play the All-Star games tonight. The immediate forecast shows some additional mist conditions beginning at 4:00 PM, and with the field already saturated, it is just not feasible to play and to put players who run or jog around bases at risk.

*Good news: Unlike with the canceling of the annual swim party after the Spring season, when the pool was already booked most evenings, Miracle Field is much more available. So we're told the plan is to postpone *to a later date* and to announce a rescheduled date/time after Parks & Rec can evaluate weather forecasts, and Ankeny Kiwanis Club can coordinate that with volunteer Angels -- Grand View Wrestlers.

We are excited for Saturday's games -- closing day of our Fall '26 season!! 🏅🏅🏅Last week, volunteers from Ankeny Girls Wrestling and Centennial Boys Golf brought a bunch of FUN -- see a few photos snapped by Ankeny Kiwanis Club volunteer Jen Walter! ✨🌟

*Reminder: We close the season this Saturday September 19th and will hold the Kiwanis Club-hosted post-season party -- our All-Star Night/Under the Lights event with Grand View Wrestling 🌟🎉 on Tuesday, September 22nd!!!

On the 22nd, we'll have youth game at 6pm and adult game at 7:30pm. We'll also enjoy pizza!! 🍕

It's a fantastic morning at Ankeny Miracle League! 🥎

A Big Thank You goes to our volunteer Angels in the Outfield: Ankeny Girls Wrestling and Centennial Boys Golf! ✨They're cheering, high-fiving, pitching (even as some players smack line drives right at 'em...!), and adding to the FUN!!! 🎉
