It's time again for fast and FUR-ious flyball fun on opening day at the Alaska State Fair! Our performances, which will include members of Glacier Shakers Flyball Club, are today (Fri, Aug 21) at 3:00 and 4:30 PM in the Alaska News Source Corral along the Red Trail.

During our Fireweed Flyball Fest, we celebrated Patti and Patrick's 50th wedding anniversary! Those of us with ADGW are proud that the Higgins have been a part of our flyball family for 16.3% of their married life (they both appreciate math/stats). Many thanks to Carol for organizing the festivities, which included baking not one, but two of her legendary cakes.

Hank was quite the overachiever during ! In addition to earning his MBDCh title (500 multibreed points) and his FMX title (10,000 points), he ran a new fastest time over 9 inches (4.103 seconds), as well as helped us set a new multibreed club record.

was a double dose celebration for Ziggy! He earned his FDCh-G title (2,500 points) and set a new personal best of 5.355 seconds!

In her last race of the day during Tourney 1, Catoosa Littlefoot ran a new personal best of 4.316. Apparently unsatisfied with her own performance, in her last race of Tourney 2, she ran yet another personal best of 4.285! (As has become customary, Catoosa's older little brother and fellow rescue, Chester, joined the celebratory photo. 🥳)

Coco, our Fly-Bull Terrier, earned her fourth multibreed title MBDCh-S (1,000 multibreed points)!
