The studio space will remain what you know and loved about the Nook: an intimate studio for creatives to connect with their body and explore movement without judgement.

We're excited to be taking this step in keeping the studio space open and available to movement creatives.

The Movement Nook is offering a service trade for someone who can help us capture the magic of our space.

💫 What You’ll Get:
Unlimited access to The Movement Nook.

📌 What You’ll Do:
Plan and record 5–6 high-quality videos/photos each month that inspire people to use our studio in creative ways
- Capture the beauty, versatility, and energy of the space
- Upload everything to our shared drive — no editing required

✨ What You’ll Need:
- A phone that films in 4K
- A steady hand & a creative perspective
- Love for movement and visual storytelling

We're really hoping to find someone who thinks outside the box.

Hi everyone, I’m Jaylah! I haven’t done a formal intro yet, so I want to share a little about myself in the spirit of gratitude. I’ve always had a deep desire to dance, but formal lessons weren’t an option growing up, so I learned through the streets as a battle dancer. That season of my life gave me some of my favorite memories, and it also shaped me to be an explorer of movement. Now, I spend all of my free time pole dancing and I built The Movement Nook to offer myself—and all of you—more freedom to explore, play, and practice whatever your style is on your time.

It’s such a beautiful thing to see the creativity in this community. Thanks for welcoming me here, and supporting my impulsive idea to open an open concept studio.
