Remember Cruze? ❤️
That adorable, sweet, kind draft cross we brought along from weanling through his 2-year-old year and placed a few weeks ago?
This summer, Cruze started his under-saddle journey and, in just 10 rides, he was confidently walking, trotting and cantering in the arena, navigating obstacles, and heading out and about with confidence.
And now…his next chapter has officially begun. 🥹❤️

From the very beginning our goal been to build a better foundation for horses. One that gives them the best possible chance at success, safety and longevity once they leave our hands and head to their forever homes.
That means matchmaking, not just moving horses. (We do have more available)
It means a fully transparent and honest process. It means taking the time to truly know the horse in front of us, developing their confidence and skills, coupled with finding the right person and environment where they can thrive - building the relationship based on trust that makes that partnership successful.

Cruze was never just a horse we were preparing to place.
He was a horse we were preparing for life.
And watching him begin that life with his family?

We have a client sending us a 2-year-old this fall to go through preschool and kindergarten, then overwinter with us for growth, daily handling and continued development before heading into elementary school in the spring.
We have space for one or two more horses on that schedule, plus a few additional slots for late spring and summer.

📝Key note: one needs to learn the horsemanship skills and clear communication to insure lasting success - horses aren’t machines after all. If seeking push button, buy something with an engine - but, now that I think about it, those require maintenance and tune ups too!
We teach select lessons and include them in our training packages, as well as maintain contact and help our buyers in perpetuity. Our horses essentially come with a user manual and continued support. Yet another item on the list that supports the value of our horses 💫
