How blessed am I that this is how I spent my Tuesday afternoon…. While the workers had the consignment horses practice keeping space I got to race up the hills with these two cuties 😍. What a gorgeous day to be outside!

What a performance by the herd. This is the first time I have seen Bobart frolic so aggressively! Go ole boy! It was an awesome evening for riding training horses! The wind and rain added really nice desensitizing and I was snug as can be in my giant marshmallow sweats 😆.

UPDATE: Phoebe has also been shown in 4-H by an intermediate handler and handled the hauling and showing like a pro. Phoebe: This little lady has also finished a 2 week assessment with us at the farm and is she a beauty!?! She is a registered 8 year old APHA mare. Her ideal person would be someone who understands opinionated mares and is ready to work on a partnership. She has huge amounts of energy and try, but has some restricted mobility in both hind limbs that may benefit from injections or further vetting for consistent use. When she came to us she hadn’t been ridden in ~3 years and we rode her on the first session with no buck/rear/funny business, just lots of energy. She would likely benefit from a consistent job that will improve muscle tone and help her use her body in a better frame, but would not be suited for high performance activities. Her face is soo cute and she’d love to find her person to pamper her and adore her big personality. To schedule a time to see her send us a message 😊

Here it is! The official post for Jax. This sweet boy is a 14/15 year old grade quarter horse gelding. I adore him! His current family bought him hoping he would be a good match for their beginner daughter, but he was a little watchy and apprehensive so they decided to go with something a little more experienced. That being said, this sweet boy really wants to please. He would do well with a confident handler who can share some of their calm nerves while he gains his own confidence. He’s finished his 2 week assessment and in that time he’s ridden in the arena and on the trails. He seems most at ease on the trails so I’m assuming he was a trail boy at some point. His family is motivated to find him his forever home and he is priced reasonably. If you’d like to set up a time to meet him, send us a message 😊. If you’d like him to stay on in training at the farm to progress further in his confidence and exposure, that can also be arranged. My workers and I LOVE working with him. He is the gelding version of Seven, and we all know how that consignment turned out 😉. So someone sn**ch him up before he ends up in my pasture with Seven lol.
