10 years old • 15hh • National Show Horse

There’s something about a horse like Cy that makes you stop and look.

Cy is a National Show Horse with the presence, movement, and energy you expect from the breed. He is well broke, has a lovely walk, trot, and lope, and is a polished ride in the arena.

But Cy isn’t just an arena horse.

He has 4 years of endurance riding on his resume, giving him a solid foundation and plenty of experience outside the ring. He has the energy and athleticism to go all day, while still remaining soft, responsive, and controllable.

Cy likes to move. He has some motor and genuinely enjoys having a job — but that energy is paired with a soft feel through his face and body.

And then there’s his personality.

Cy is friendly, personable, and genuinely enjoys people. He’s usually the first one at the gate to come say hello, making him the kind of horse you enjoy spending time with both in and out of the saddle.

A fancy horse with a practical side, a big personality, and the experience to back it up.

Meet Jack.

Jack isn’t a broke-to-death schoolmaster, but he’s sure not a start-from-square-one project either. He’s got a foundation, he’s got some buttons, and he’s got enough mileage to give you something to work with.

Jack had 60 days of professional training in January 2025 and has been ridden on and off since. Because he hasn’t had a super consistent program, I’d still consider him green — but put him in a routine and this guy settles in FAST.

And when he’s in his groove? Jack is FUN.

He’s got a cute little jog and a smooth, effortless lope that makes him comfortable to ride English OR western. He’s had a start on some more advanced maneuvers, so you can take him in whatever direction suits you. Keep him simple, make him handy, polish up his buttons — you get to finish the horse YOU want.

The boring-but-important stuff:
✔️ Stands tied
✔️ Trailers well
✔️ Good to work around
✔️ Generally polite on the ground
✔️ May need a refresher on personal space if he’s been sitting
✔️ Farrier work is something to stay consistent with — he’s not awful, but he may test whether you're serious about keeping that foot

Jack is looking for someone who actually enjoys making a horse.

Someone who wants a horse with enough foundation to ride now, but enough room left in the recipe to add their own seasoning.

Give this guy consistency, direction and a job, and I think he has a LOT to offer.

He doesn't need someone looking for a finished push-button babysitter.

He needs someone who sees a good horse and thinks: “Oh yeah. I could have some fun with this one.”

Okay, but what if your kiddo’s next horse didn’t have to be 16 hands tall to be a BIG deal? 😉

Cedar is the little mare with a whole lot of job description.

She’s been a youth all-around mount and is just plain FUN to have around. She’s got an easy W/T/L, kid-level buttons, and enough know-how to take your rider from “Mom, which way do I steer?” to “Mom, I’m entering WSCA!” 😂

Round pen? ✔️
Cruising around the farm? ✔️
Trail rides? Absolutely.
Want to get serious about the show pen? She has WON that too.

Cedar loves getting out and seeing the world, but she's just as happy taking a casual cruise around home. She's the kind of horse that doesn't need everything to be a production.

And because riding is only half the horse-owning equation, Cedar is a good girl on the ground, too. She’s easy for kids and adults to handle, good for the vet, and does all the boring-but-important stuff: leads, loads, ties, and minds her manners. Cedar has been anxious at times for the farrier, and other times she's just fine.

Basically, if your kiddo is ready to level up their riding without leveling up to a giant horse, Cedar's perfect!

She’s cute. She’s handy. She’s got buttons.
And she’s ready for her next kid.

Registered 3-year-old Half Gypsy Pony Gelding | 12hh

Okay, I’ll admit it… I was REALLY hoping Benny was going to grow. 😂 But apparently, Benny had other plans, and at exactly 12hh, I’m thinking this little guy has decided he’s done growing.

And honestly? That might be just fine, because you aren't going to find a much cuter pony.

My kids started Benny under saddle last fall, and he was riding w/t and hauling all over the place with us. This year, he’s mostly been doing some low-level lead lining while the girls keep their show ponies legged up.

Benny has that calm, go-with-the-flow Gypsy personality. He’s friendly, easy to handle, and just a genuinely nice little dude. He has excellent ground manners, is great for the vet and farrier, and is an easy keeper.

And LOOK AT THAT HAIR. 😍

If your kiddo has been begging for a pony with enough mane and tail to braid until their fingers fall off… Benny is your guy.

He’s cute, he’s hairy, he’s registered, and he’s got that sweet Gypsy personality we all love.
