Consistency isn’t about doing everything. It’s about doing a few things often enough that they matter over time. Small, repeatable habits always outperform occasional intensity.

July is a natural midpoint in the year—not for judgment, but for awareness.
You don’t need a reset, just a clearer picture of what’s actually working for you right now.

Movement should feel like support, not punishment.
Exercise works best when connected to feeling better.

If you've ever felt like you "can't stop" once you start eating certain foods, I want you to read this. It's not a willpower problem.
Researchers locked 20 people in a lab for a month and fed them two diets that were matched for calories, sugar, fat, sodium, and fiber. The only difference was how processed the food was. People could eat as much or as little as they wanted.
On the ultra-processed diet, they ate 508 more calories a day. Same person, same hunger ratings, just 500 extra calories they didn't even notice. Over two weeks they gained 2 pounds. On the whole-food diet, the exact same people lost 2 pounds.
The kicker? They ate faster on the processed food. Soft, easy-to-chew, calorie-dense stuff goes down before your body can shout "I'm full."
So here's what I want you to take from this: you are not broken. The food is engineered to be easy to overeat. Change the food on your plate and you change how much you eat without white-knuckling anything.
This week, swap one ultra-processed item for a whole-food version. One swap. Let the food do the heavy lifting.
