A nonprofit working to open the Cross Bar SRMA. Through grants and public/private donations. Managed by the Bureau of Land Management.
Cross Bar Management Area is a 12,000 acre hidden gem North of Amarillo Texas. Cross Bar was designated as a Special Recreation Management Area in 2020. The Cross Bar offers hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, and hunting opportunities. Public access by permit only which requires traversing the Canadian River.
