🌍🥊 Gracelyn Garrett and Patrick Gray are getting international attention!
Both fighters were recently featured in a European online kickboxing magazine following their huge wins at the IKF World Classic Championships this summer.
These victories were truly a team effort. Our entire competition team trained hard, made sacrifices, and pushed one another all summer to help Gracelyn and Patrick achieve their goals.
A huge thank-you to every sparring partner, coach, and sponsor who invested extra time and support into our athletes. We couldn’t do it without you!
Tryouts for our 2027 International Competition Team are about to begin. We’ll discuss the schedule and the events we’re targeting at the Fall Brawl on September 12.

Austin, one of my students for 20 years, helped me teach and review some of my favorite techniques from this month, including this hand-fighting concept taught to me by my Dutch kickboxing and Muay Thai coach, James Mcsweeney.

🥊 Tons of sparring opportunities are coming September 12th in Amarillo Texas!
This event is for everyone—from first-time beginners to seasoned veterans of kickboxing and other striking martial arts.
We’ll start with plenty of light-contact matches, with the goal of giving everyone as many rounds as possible. Later, those who want to turn up the intensity can participate in harder exhibition matches inside the ring or cage.
These harder exhibitions will also serve as tryouts for Team USA Kickboxing—the back-to-back winners of the International Team Cup at the 2024 and 2025 WKO World Championships! 🇺🇸🏆
Come test your skills, gain valuable experience, and earn your opportunity to represent Team USA!

Today was an incredible day—I got to share the mats with my favorite Black Belt in the world! 🥊🥰
More than 20 years ago, Casey was my very first assistant instructor when we opened Extreme Martial Arts. She eventually stepped away from teaching to take on an even more important role: being a full-time mama to our babies.
Now, she’s making her exciting return to the mats at Extreme Martial Arts Amarillo! Casey has already been working hard behind the scenes, but today she officially stepped back into her element. She taught every kids class and then joined me for an adult class—and she was amazing!
I’m beyond blessed to share my passion, my gym, and this journey with the love of my life.

Our fourth Extreme Martial Arts location began classes just three weeks ago—and it’s already off to an incredible start!
Coach Jaxen Reep began training at Extreme Martial Arts nearly 20 years ago. He recently went from being a full-time coach at our main Amarillo location to the head instructor and owner-operator of our newest location in Weatherford, Texas.
He has already signed up his 16th student!
Help us congratulate Coach Jaxen and send him some love. He’ll be back in Amarillo to belt test with us on September 11!

At 7½ months pregnant, Jessica is still finding the time and determination to train.
As a coach, I always try to inspire my students to want more for themselves—but Jessica inspires me to train harder, too.
