Now it’s time to get ready for the TAAF Summer Games of Texas! The work isn’t finished, and we’re excited to see what these athletes accomplish next.

It was great seeing Mateo and Kaycee running in the Firecracker run today before the parade! Way to go!!!

Kash represented RUN West Texas well at the AAU Regional Qualifier in Odessa, and his dedication showed on the track with an incredible performance!

🏅 A little behind on sharing, but we have to celebrate some incredible performances from our first track meets of the season on June 5th & 6th! 🏃‍♂️🔥

Our athletes represented RUN West Texas so well, competing hard and setting the tone for an exciting summer season!

⭐ Coltley kicked off the season in a big way, bringing home 2 Gold Medals and 1 Bronze Medal!
🥇 1st – Mile
🥇 1st – 800m
🥉 3rd – Long Jump

With big PR goals set for this year, Coltley is already off to an outstanding start!

⭐ Mateo had a strong opening meet, earning:
🥈 2nd – 1600m
🥈 2nd – 800m

⭐ Micah competed hard in the 50m and 100m, while Mikey celebrated an exciting milestone by earning his very first medal with:
🥉 3rd – 100m

⭐ Daven had an outstanding start to his season at the Perryton meet, bringing home 2 Gold Medals!
🥇 1st – Long Jump
🥇 1st – 300m Hurdles

His hard work and determination are already paying off, and we’re excited to watch him continue to grow this season!

⭐ Kash put together an incredible day in Odessa with three first-place finishes and personal records:
🥇 1st – Age Group Race in 11:59 (PR)
🥇 1st – 800m in 2:40 (7-second PR)
🥇 1st – 1500m in 5:24 (25-second PR)

We are so proud of every athlete who stepped onto the track and into the field events. The dedication, discipline, and effort they put in every day are showing, and this is only the beginning of the summer season.

Registration is open for our June 13th and June 20th RUN West Texas Track Meets at Bushland High School!

You do not have to be a member of RUN West Texas or any track club to compete. If your athlete is between the ages of 5–18, we’d love to have them join us!

Whether it’s their first meet or they’re chasing a new PR, this is a great chance to get out, compete, and have some fun this summer.

⚠️ Don’t wait until the last minute to register!
Registration closes at NOON on the Wednesday before each meet, and there will be no late entries accepted.
