We are so excited to kick off another year of helping young athletes learn, grow, and have fun through track and field! Whether your child is brand new to the sport or wants to continue developing their skills, our recreational program is the perfect place to build confidence, make friends, and stay active.

📅 Practice Schedule
🗓 Mondays
⏰ 5:45 PM Warm-Up
🏃 6:00–7:00 PM Practice

🍂 Fall/Spring Season
✅ September & October 2026
✅ February, March, April & May 2027

📲 Once you register, you’ll receive our SportsYou parent group. Please make sure that you get in this group. This is where all practice updates, weather announcements, reminders, and important program information will be posted throughout the Fall/Spring season, so be sure to stay connected!

❄️ How Winter Works (November–January):
Because of the unpredictable weather, we won’t have a monthly program during the winter months. Instead, practices will be offered week by week whenever weather permits.

• 💵 $20 cash per practice
• 📲 Winter practice announcements will be shared in our separate Winter SportsYou Group.

👧👦 Ages 5–18
📍 Randall Practice Field (the field without the bleachers)
💲 $80 per month during the Fall and Spring seasons.

Whether your athlete wants to improve for another sport, stay active during the school year, or simply discover a love for track and field, we’d love to welcome them to the RUN West Texas family!

❤️ Registration is NOW OPEN! We can’t wait to see returning athletes and meet new families this season.

Day 3 is in the books… and that’s a wrap on our 2026 Competitive Season! 💙🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Today our 10U and 12U long jumpers, along with our 14U–18U athletes, gave it everything they had. We were thankful for the cloud cover through much of the day, but once the Texas sun came out this afternoon, the heat was no joke. Even so, these athletes showed up ready to compete. While we may not have advanced to tomorrow’s finals in running, we celebrated more personal records, and that’s what growth is all about.

Summer track is no small commitment. It takes dedication from athletes, parents, and coaches, and I couldn’t be more proud of every athlete who chose to put in the work this summer. Thank you for representing RUN West Texas with heart, determination, and sportsmanship. It has truly been an honor to coach each one of you.

If you missed out on our Competitive Season but have an athlete interested in joining, we’d love to have you! Registration for our 2027 Competitive Season will open in February and close during Spring Break in March, so mark your calendars. We train throughout June and July and compete together at meets across the area, with opportunities for additional meets for athletes wanting even more competition.

Our mission remains the same—to continue growing track and field athletes across the Texas Panhandle.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our parents for trusting us with your children, and thank you to every athlete for your hard work, commitment, and willingness to chase your goals.

Now… one last time for Competitive Season 2026…

1…2…3… R-U-N-W-T-X! ❤️💙

Competitive Season is officially in the books!

🏅 Next up: Recreational Season begins in September, and registration is OPEN now at www.runwtx.com. We can’t wait to welcome new and returning athletes!
