Coach Albert is practicing what he preaches. 💪⚾️

Sport specific skills matter. But great athletes need more than just reps of their sport.

Generalized athletic training helps build the foundation:
⚡️ Coordination
⚡️ Agility
⚡️ Strength
⚡️ Explosiveness
⚡️ Balance
⚡️ Body control
⚡️ Speed and reaction

Then you take that foundation and combine it with sport-specific skill work.

That’s where athletes really start to separate themselves.

Don’t just train the skill. Train the athlete.

Build a stronger, faster, more coordinated athlete in the gym, then bring those abilities to the field. Do both consistently, and you give yourself a much better chance to excel.

Power athletics offers Strength and Conditioning classes for ages 11+. We’re ready to help you excel on the field and in life.

Congratulations to all of our athletes who graduated this year and are heading off to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level! 🎓⚾️🥎

But today, we’re giving a little extra love to Zoey.

Zoey has been working with Coach Mooch for many years. We’ve watched her grow as an athlete, put in the work, overcome challenges, and become the player she is today.

And now, she’s taking the next step and playing at Coach Mooch’s alma mater.

How cool is that?

From training together for all those years to watching Zoey head off to play at the same school where Coach Mooch once played, this one feels a little more special.

We’re so proud of you, Zoey. We can’t wait to see what’s next!

Congratulations to all of our 2026 graduates. You’ve put in the work. Now go make your mark.

This school year, give them an advantage that lasts all season.

NUTRITION CLINIC
If the fuel is wrong, the strength, speed, and skills will never reach full potential. Parents are investing in lessons, travel teams, and gear—but if your athlete is under‑fueled and under‑recovered, you’re capping their ceiling before they ever step on the field. After 20+ years coaching strength and conditioning and 15+ years with my own kids in high‑level travel sports, I can tell you: nutrition is the most important and most ignored piece of the performance puzzle for youth athletes. That’s why we’re hosting a practical Youth Athlete Nutrition Seminar for athletes and their parents—to show you exactly what to eat, when to eat, and how to fuel for growth, performance, and recovery.
We’re capping this at 20 seats so we can answer questions and make it truly hands‑on—once those spots are gone, they’re gone. Link in bio.

Your athlete spends hours practicing.

But what they eat matters just as much as the work they're putting in on the field.

Join us on June 16th at 6:45 PM for a workshop designed to help young athletes learn how to fuel for:

âšľ Better performance
âšľ Faster recovery
âšľ More energy and focus
âšľ Growth and development
âšľ Injury prevention

We'll cut through the confusion and give you practical strategies that actually work for busy families.

Parents are required to attend with their athlete.

Because talent is great.
But a well-fueled athlete has a much better chance to reach their potential.

Your athlete throws… but are they doing it right?

This isn’t guesswork. It’s proven, high-level coaching your athlete can actually apply. The athletes who get this kind of coaching early, they separate themselves fast.

Spots are LIMITED, and we expect these to fill quickly. This clinic is open to all softball players 10+. So share this post!

👉 Message us to secure your spot! Members, you can find a link in your email.

If your kid says they want to play college sports… that’s not the time to start learning what a power clean is.

By the time they get on campus, they’re expected to lift, practice, recover, and keep up with school… all in the same day.

The kids who already know how to move well, train with intent, and take care of their bodies are not just ahead… they’re in a completely different lane.

If your kid is playing year-round, cool. But that’s not enough.

This is when you layer in strength and conditioning.

This is when you build durability, not just skill.

Because it’s a whole lot easier to build the strength and engine now than try to fix it when it’s already under load.

It's about helping kids positively associate with the concept of health and fitness. It will absolutely serve them in their sport, but more importantly, beyond it through their entire life.

If you have a teen athlete, strength training shouldn’t be optional. It should be part of the plan.

Strength training helps teens run faster, jump higher, and change direction more efficiently. But the benefits go way beyond performance.

Stronger muscles help protect joints.
Better movement patterns reduce injury risk.
And learning how to train properly builds confidence that carries into their sport.

Here’s the part a lot of people miss.

Most teen athletes spend hours practicing skills… but very little time building the strength that supports those skills.

You can’t out-skill a weak foundation.

A well-structured strength program teaches teens how to move well, control their bodies, and build real, usable strength that translates to the field, court, or mat.

And when it’s coached correctly, it’s one of the safest things they can do.

Strong athletes are more resilient athletes.
