✨ 13 looks so beautiful on you, my girl. 🤍
Thirteen years of watching you grow, and somehow this year feels extra big. A new house, a new school, a new chapter—and so much growing, learning, and becoming along the way. 🥹
You’ve always had the biggest heart. You love the ocean 🌊, every animal you can possibly find 🐢🐚🐶🐴, and most of all, you love Jesus. ✝️🤍 My prayer is that through every new beginning, you always know whose you are and never lose the sweet, compassionate, adventurous girl God created you to be.
Middle school is here, 13 is here, and there’s so much ahead. I’m so proud of the young woman you’re becoming.
Keep chasing the waves, loving every creature, laughing loudly, and following Jesus wherever He leads you. 🌊🐾✝️
Happy 13th birthday, my beautiful girl. Being your mom is one of my greatest blessings. I love you more than you’ll ever know. 🤍
Here’s to 13… and this beautiful new chapter. 🥂

We were displaced for two weeks, living out of storage bins while the kids started at brand new schools… and now, we are finally in.
I’m just now catching my breath, settling into the quiet moments, and letting it all sink in. 🤍
This season stretched us in every way—living out of basements, borrowing rooms from generous friends on vacation just to safely tuck away things like china and jewelry, navigating double moving expenses, all while work was at its absolute busiest. We had friends take the bunnies, others drop me at work, and others run sleepovers for the kids!
We did it all on one car, with the kids at camp for a week in the middle of it, piecing together days and nights however we could.
And if I’m honest… we didn’t handle everything the best. In the middle of it all, Stephen also unexpectedly lost his uncle, which added another layer of heaviness to an already full season.
We’re still trying to find the words to capture all the unbelievable moments from these weeks—but one thing is clear: seasons like this show you who really has your back.
People showed up for us in the most beautiful ways. We felt carried, supported, and reminded just how much community matters.
It was full—chaotic, emotional, exhausting—but also deeply good.
Here are a few memories and moments from the in-between that I don’t want to forget…

Complacency vs. Contentment: The Quiet Line We Cross Without Noticing
There is a line so thin it almost doesn’t exist. On one side: contentment. On the other: complacency. And most of us are living somewhere in between—telling ourselves we’re at peace, when in reality we’ve just stopped moving. The Beauty of True Contentment Contentment is powerful. It’s grounded. It’s steady. It says: I am grateful for what I have. I don’t need to chase worth or prove anything to belong....

Everything good comes when I’m at the beach 🌊
I met my husband sand side, was engaged beach front, and found out my sweet baby girl was coming on the shores! This trip to the beach we found out we are moving forward! Literally!!
In just one week we found a house and sold ours… and we move in 3 weeks!
We just passed our appraisal 🤍 which means we’ve officially cleared the last major contractual step. We’re honestly still a little surprised and so grateful that everything came together the way it did.
If the final check goes smoothly next week, we’ll be moving just 10 minutes away — not far at all. But really big for me!
We found a home we didn’t even know we really wanted… and it’s been such a gift in this season to create momentum behind us. This next chapter includes a dedicated bathroom for our pr***en (a true win 😄) and the opportunity to be bold.
Feeling so thankful for this home, this neighborhood, and all the memories made here ✨ and excited to grow forward into what’s next.
If you are a friend, neighbor, college friend, or extended family member and would like our new address, please DM me 💛
If I do not know you personally, I won’t be sharing our address—thank you so much for understanding 🥰
Happy Independence Day everyone! As our nation celebrates 250 years I am not looking at our past but at our future and all its going to hold!

The beautiful mess of being a working progress
Be happy because life ends at one point and even when you are a working progress, life isn't stopping, so enjoy life for someday things will never be the same. Hey everyone! It’s me, Amberly, and I want to share something important with you. First things first: you are enough. Really! Life can get overwhelming sometimes. It feels like we’re on a wild roller coaster, with ups and downs all around us....

May is coming! And it always feels like it belongs to mothers and daughters—the quiet, the chaos, and everything in between. It’s in the way hands still reach for each other without thinking, in the shared laughter that sounds the same across generations, and in the unspoken understanding that only the family of you carry.
Mothers teach daughters how to be strong, how to be kind, how to keep going. Daughters remind mothers how to dream, how to soften, how to see the world with fresh eyes again.
Whether you’re side by side every day or carrying each other in your hearts from afar, that bond doesn’t fade—it grows, shifts, and deepens with time.
Here’s to the late-night talks, the car rides, the lessons learned, and the love that never really needs words.
May is for you—for the roots and the wings - May is for memories and it’s for Mema. Legacy living on.
