Meet Isabel, one of our teachers for this training! ✨
Isabel’s yoga journey began in 2006 in her hometown of Guayaquil, Ecuador, when she took her first Ashtanga Led Primary Series class — and never looked back.
Since then, she’s dedicated herself to deep, ongoing study: Anusara alignment immersions with the Anusara School of Hatha Yoga, teacher training through The Maze Method, and years of Ashtanga study — first with Ale Chiarella in Buenos Aires, then three years with Todd Roderick of Ashtanga Yoga Atlanta, and currently with Sava at Mysore Yoga Atlanta, where she continues to deepen her understanding of adjustments, biomechanics, and traditional teaching methodology.
She’s also a Yoga Medicine® Therapeutic Specialist, having trained alongside Tiffany Cruikshank and the Yoga Medicine team to bring an anatomically grounded, therapeutic lens to her teaching.
Teaching since 2016, Isabel weaves together alignment, philosophy, and two decades of daily practice to help students turn inward and truly meet themselves on the mat. 🙏

YOGA TEACHER TRAINING FILLING FAST!
Whether you want to teach or simply LEARN more about the deeper aspects of yoga, this training is for you.
#1 YTT in North Fulton for 10+ years! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Many years ago, my friend Katie Bush painted this sign for me. It’s an expression I say in teacher training all the time.
It’s important that our students know that it can feel uncomfortable to stand in front of a group of people and be vulnerable. However, we take small steps to build courage and confidence in our training.
Some people say “I don’t think I have the courage to do something like this.“
Courage is not something we are born with, courage is something that happens when we do something uncomfortable.
Courage = Feeling the fear and doing it anyway
Graduates say that this is one thing that really grows through their experience: Confidence!
If you want to be trained properly from the absolute best faculty around, you deserve this education.
Unlike traditional YTT programs, we bring together the expertise and resources of multiple yoga studios across North Atlanta.
In addition, Kim is a 20 year licensed professional counselor who works with trauma and acute stress. You will learn somatic techniques to regulate the nervous system and not only help yourself but your students to find more calm and clarity internally.
This unique approach ensures you receive a diverse and well-rounded training experience, learning from various instructors and perspectives.
We are proud to offer a program that is truly one-of-a-kind, just like you.
Plus, you get to practice FREE at our participating studios during training!
If you are considering teaching or simply want to deepen your knowledge of yoga, this program will help you enrich your everyday life and take you to the next level.
Next training begins October 16th
$350 deposit holds your spot
We’ll meet two weekends per month

This isn’t a “pretty picture” pose. 🦵🧠⚖️
Standing Hand to Big Toe is basically a strength and balance test disguised as a stretch. Look at what’s actually happening here:
🦵 Leg strength — one leg is doing 100% of the standing work while your quad, glute, and calf fire to keep you steady.
🧘 Core strength — your center has to stay engaged and stacked, or the whole pose collapses. No core, no pose.
🎯 Mental focus — balance is as much brain as it is body. You have to be present. One wandering thought and you’re wobbling.
⚖️ Balance — the real prize. Not flexibility, not touching your toe to your nose. Balance.
Here’s the thing: you never have to aim for the “final” version of this pose. Begin with the end in mind, sure — but the goal was never the shape. The goal is what it’s building along the way: stronger legs, a stronger core, sharper focus, and better balance.
Losing muscle, losing balance, losing that mind-body connection — that’s not just “getting older.” That’s what happens when we stop training strength and stability on purpose. It doesn’t have to be the default. Aging doesn’t have to mean a downslide. Strength is critical at every age.
Yoga + strength training isn’t about chasing a pose for Instagram. It’s about staying capable — steady on your feet, strong in your body, sharp in your mind — for decades to come.
So if you’re feeling less steady than you used to be: this is your sign. Start where you are. Build the leg strength. Build the core. Build the focus. The balance will come.
You don’t need the full pose. You need to start. 💪🏽 Get strong with us as we begin our new training group in October.

Hi everyone, it’s Terri O’Connor — sharing the beauty of the elements and the feeling of energetic flow! 🌊
During the next YTT, Terri will be teaching:
🧘 Restorative Yoga & the Energy Body — learn how blankets, bolsters, and blocks support deeper openings and alignment, helping you unwind body and mind.
🪑 Chair & Wall Yoga — discover extension, balance, and support in familiar poses using a chair and/or the wall.
🌀 Terri will also guide you through the subtle energy systems of the chakras and koshas, exploring how yoga stimulates your life force energy — creating balance, vitality, and expanded awareness you can carry into your practice and everyday life.
We can’t wait to learn with her! 💛

Meet Bethany Lord ✨🧘♀️
Hi everyone! I’m Bethany Lord, and I teach at Sathya Hot Yoga & Wellness in Suwanee, Georgia. I’m so excited to be joining this year’s Yoga Teacher Training.
I love helping students develop the strength, confidence, body awareness, and technique to approach challenging postures safely and intelligently. My philosophy is that understanding why we move is just as important as learning how to move. Whether we’re exploring arm balances, inversions, or foundational postures, my goal is always to help students understand why —not just how to perform it.
During our training together, we’ll explore intelligent sequencing and alignment, as well as practical ways to incorporate the Yamas and Niyamas into modern life and teaching. We’ll also dive into arm balances and inversions, breaking them down into approachable, accessible progressions that help build both confidence and skill.
Join me during YTTC for:
✨ Intelligent Sequencing & Alignment
✨ The Yamas & Niyamas in Modern Practice
✨ Arm Balances & Inversions
I can’t wait to learn, grow, and practice with all of you. See you on the mat! 🤍

We are living through a moment that is asking something new of us.
The pace of information, the noise, the constant low hum of urgency in our nervous systems — most of us are walking around dysregulated and calling it normal.
We’ve forgotten what it feels like to simply be, without reaching for the next thing, the next distraction, the next fix.
This is why we believe yoga teacher training right now isn’t really about becoming a teacher. It’s about becoming a student of yourself, at the exact moment you need it most.
We’ve normalized anxiety as ambition, exhaustion as dedication, and disconnection as independence.
Teacher training — done well — is a deep study of the self: non-attachment (this does not mean you don’t care… Rather that you can hold your life with open hands rather than white knuckles), nervous system regulation, the Yamas and Niyamas as an ethical framework for living, and (in our training) trauma-sensitive, psychotherapy-informed tools for working with the whole person, not just the body.
This training isn’t only for people who want to teach. It’s for people who are ready to learn how to actually live in their own bodies again.
