Solar Soccer Club Solar Soccer Club The purpose of the Solar Soccer Club is to teach the concepts of sound technical skills coupled with team tactical ex*****on.

Skills such as receiving, controlling, passing, tactical movement, dribbling and defending are taught. The ability to move to open spaces and working together towards a common goal are emphasized as this is a team sport. A balance between individual play and team play is stressed. Solar’s mission of “Soccer Excellence Through Development” is carried on at all Solar Soccer training grounds and is overseen by USSF Academy Head Coach Adrian Solca. Based on the experience of our entire coaching staff, our most important goal is to build players in a healthy team environment. We stress the development of individual players, preparing them for the next level of soccer. We take pride in winning multiple national championships and elite tournaments on both the girls and boys side. Solar Soccer Club is nationally recognized for its development of collegiate, national and professional level players. From the youth academy teams at U6 through our highest level USSDA/ECNL teams, the Solar Coaching philosophy is focused on developing a technically advanced team which involves all players in all stages of the game. While giving attention to the details of the game, our goal is to allow players to take chances and be creative. The transition from competitive play to the USSF Development Academy/ECNL level is often a difficult leap but Solar Soccer Club has a planned program that pushes the development of players to insure they are able to compete at every level.

A massive thank you to Austin College Sports, Southwestern University, and University of Mary Hardin-Baylor for an incredible weekend with our Solar ECNL U19 program!

REPRESENTING AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL! 📲🇺🇸

Major congratulations to our three Solar U17 ECNL (Solar SC ECNL G10) players called up to the domestic camp! Solar holds the highest number of selections across the ECNL Girls TX Conference for this 24-player squad.

The team heads to the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer YNT & US Soccer National Training Center from Sept. 7–14 to begin preparations for next year's FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup qualifiers.
