Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

In our club we teach the importance of gratitude, family, hard work, respect, discipline, accountability, service, self-confidence and striving for personal excellence. Our program focuses on the importance of goal-setting, developing a plan of action and constant evaluation and reevaluation. Climbing, sometimes plateauing or even falling and learning how to get back up and move forward is essential to growth and advancement. These are the essential skills we focus on as a club besides just wrestling. Working through adversity with a positive mindset and being grateful during the process life skill that your child will learn and ultimately embrace.

📢‼️ NEW SEASON. NEW DIVISION NAMES ‼️📢

Texas USA Wrestling is excited to roll out our 2026–2027 Youth Folkstyle divisions and weight classes!

As our sport continues to evolve, these updates help create a stronger, more recognizable pathway for wrestlers as they progress from youth competition into Middle School and High School.

🏅 NEW NAMES FOR ALL DIVISIONS

You’ll see updated age-division names beginning this season:

⭐ Tots → 5U
⭐ D1 → 7U
⭐ D2 → 9U
⭐ D3 → 11U
⭐ D4 → Middle School
⭐ D5 → High School

💪 MORE OPPORTUNITY FOR OUR MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS

One of the most exciting changes is an expanded Girls Middle School (G4) weight-class lineup:
65 • 75 • 80 • 85 • 90 • 95 • 100 • 105 • 110 • 115 • 120 • 125 • 130 • 135 • 145 • 155 • 170 • 190 • HWT

With girls wrestling continuing to grow across Texas, expanding this lineup gives more middle school girls a place to compete at an appropriate weight and creates a better bridge into the weight-class structure they’ll encounter as high school athletes and at National USAW tournaments.

We will post this in the gym. Save it to your phone. This applies to TX - USA Wrestling events only.

Our DFW Youth League operates a little differently.

On September 11, 2001, our nation was forever changed. We honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the first responders who ran toward the danger, and the service members who have answered the call every day since.

At Aledo Wrestling Club, we teach our kids that toughness isn't just physical — it's the courage to stand up, show up, and never quit. That's the spirit of the heroes we remember today.

Coach DC had a busy 1st week at AWC.

On the floor Monday thru Friday for ALL 12 classes.
