You’ve waited long enough… it’s finally time to share the BIG NEWS for UNAA World Finals!

As you all know, UNAA has been at the forefront of moving our sport toward the Olympic stage. We created WNAG (World Ninja Athlete Games) to bring athletes and gyms around the world together on a standardized course designed to meet International Olympic Committee (IOC) guidelines.
Now, with UIPM taking over as the official Obstacle Federation, we’re excited to bring one of the potential future Olympic events to the UNAA World Finals…

The UIPM 400M!

This will be a near replica of the UIPM 400M featured at the Obstacle World Championships in China. And trust us, you don’t want to miss one of the most exciting obstacle events this sport has to offer–for both athletes and spectators alike!

So what’s changing?

With our indoor space limitations, we’ve made the decision not to bring back the Ultimate OCR 3K. The 3K has had a great run (literally), but managing that event indoors is challenging—and we think the 400M is a better fit for UNAA and our athletes.

Here’s what you need to know:

-No qualifying required! The UIPM 400M will be an Open Event, so anyone can enter.

-4-person teams are coming! We’ll be introducing 400M Teams to replace the WNAG Teams competition.

-Any gym can participate. You do not have to be a WNAG gym to create a team.

So… start training!

We’re incredibly excited about this new addition to World Finals and can’t wait to see what our ninja community does with it.

✨With just one week to go until the 2026 UIPM Obstacle World Championships let’s take a look back! 💥Tiana Webberley captured gold in the Elite Women’s 400m at the 2025 UIPM World Championships with a time of 2:01.440, defeating Poland’s Katarzyna Jonaczyk and Germany’s Lotta Kokemohr to claim the historic title.

The 2026 UIPM Obstacle World Championships are set for September 2–6 in Beijing, China. 🇨🇳

UNAA WORLD SERIES FINALS SEASON 12!

JULY 14-17, 2027!

We are really excited for Season 12!
If you have not heard yet, we will be in Chicago for the UNAA World Series Finals and Obstacle Sports EXPO, 2027 which includes both UNAA and FINA, at the Donald E Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. Just 5 minutes from O'Hare airport.

This is one of the best airports to fly into from International, so we expect our international numbers to be higher than ever!

🥇🔥 GOLD at the 2026 OCR World Championships on Sunday, August 9th! Congratulations to Kai Beckstrand, Luke Beckstrand, Jaleesa Himka, and Elizabeth Polsgrove, who took gold in the Mixed Elite 400m.

We are incredibly proud of all the amazing obstacle course athletes who continue to push the limits, inspire others, and represent the sport at the highest level.
