Albuquerque Roller Derby

Join us July 25th for an epic game as Albuquerque Roller Derby takes on High Altitude Roller Derby! High Altitude Roller Derby is coming out from Flagstaff, Arizona, and these guys are TOUGH! Come see how it all shakes out!

All ages are welcome. Kids under 12 are free. There will be food, drinks, a bounce house, face painting, vendors, and scorching hot DERBY!

We Rumbled on the Rio and had a blast! ABQRD was joined in Rumble on the Rio!'s Open Bracket by COuRAGEoUS Roller Derby and ChucoTown_RollerDerby, and while these leagues are "new," they are chock full of experienced, kickass players. We're honored to have shared the track with them at this year's tournament, and we look forward to an even bigger and better tournament next year!

Albuquerque hosts Rumble on the Rio roller derby tournament “Roller derby is often described as playing chess while people throw bricks at you. And that's not entirely wrong,” organizer says.

We're rostered up and ready to roll at Rumble on the Rio! next weekend, June 27th & 28th! We're proud to be a co-host of this rebooted two-day tournament along with elevatedrollerderby and Los Alamos Derby. We'll be ending playing in the open gender bracket against ChucoTown_RollerDerby and COuRAGEoUS Roller Derby.🌈

ABQRD's Narwhals juniors (ages 8-17) are now on their summer break practice schedule. Practices in June and August will be canceled if the temperature is above 90 degrees. No practices are scheduled for July.
