Hall of Fame Feature: Dan Scheafer will be inducted into the Linn-Benton Athletics Hall of Fame as a member of the 2026 Class. Named team captain of the 1980 wrestling team, Scheafer became Linn-Benton's first OCCAA wrestling champion in program history. He concluded that season as the Region 18 consolation semi-finalist.

UPDATE: The Butch Kimpton Gymnasium dedication that was originally planned as part of this Saturday's Hall of Fame activities has been postponed. Date is TBA during basketball season. Apologies for anyone that was planning to attend and honor Butch.

Hall of Fame Feature: Kurt Sitton will be inducted into the Linn-Benton Athletics Hall of Fame as a member of the 2026 Class. Sitton's sophomore season was one for the record books as he averaged 25.6 points per game ranking in the top 5 in OCCAA for field goal percentage and rebounding. He was named OCCAA MVP as he led the Roadrunners to a 21-8 record.

Hall of Fame Feature: Peter Sekermestrovich will be inducted into the Linn-Benton Athletics Hall of Fame as a member of the 2026 Class. An explosive athlete, Sekermestrovich was the Region 18 High Hurdle Champion during his first season as a Roadrunner and would go on to set school records in both the high hurdles and 440 hurdles.

Hall of Fame Feature: Jeremy Beard will be inducted into the Linn-Benton Athletics Hall of Fame as a member of the 2026 Class. Beard was a two-way player who helped lead the Roadrunners to back-to-back tournament championship appearances in 1992 and 1993. Beard went on to play at Oregon State University and after his playing days has built a successful career coaching at the collegiate level.

Hall of Fame Feature: Mike Wilkerson will be inducted into the Linn-Benton Athletics Hall of Fame as a member of the 2026 Class. Wilkerson earned the 1983 Region 18 individual golf title by three strokes, including a Region 18 record low round of 68 at Tokatee.

Hall of Fame Feature: The 1980 baseball team will be inducted into the Linn-Benton Athletics Hall of Fame as members of the 2026 Class. The team won 36 games on their way to being named champions of the OCCAA and Region 18. The team also qualified for the 1980 NJCAA World Series.
