After 12+ years and millions in volume with TD Bank in excellent standing, my accounts were restricted
without warning or detailed notice — apparently tied to operating a state and federally licensed fi****ms retail business.

Result? All pending ACHs cancelled: ADP payroll for my team, insurance payments, vendor bills, and customer sales deposits.

I spent the entire morning at our local Central Ave branch and still have not been able to get our cash out, release Friday's ADP payroll payments, insurance and vendor payments, or even let the prior days’ sales deposits post.

This isn’t abstract — it directly affects my team’s pay, my obligations, and my ability to operate a lawful business.

The money in the account belongs to me and my business, and it is eye opening and a bit scary that a bank can just refuse to give you your money.

I’m working with the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) (highly recommend their retailer resources at nssf.org if you’re in the industry) on guidance.
