Reminder that our 3 tiers of youth rugby are all open for registration! Spread the word! No experience necessary.

Though we have no shortage of interest in this age group program, we wanted to highlight the success of our first season of Tot Rugby this summer. And give a shout out to Kelly Maloney for being our inaugural sponsor. Her donation was critical in helping us establish a shed full of equipment for these little ruggers! This program has already brought joy to so many kids as well as parents and volunteers and we are stoked for our second season to kick off in September. We would love to have this impact on the age groups after tot - so please help us spread the word to expand our Flag (non-contact) and Contact (tackle!) programs.

Registration is open now for rugby opportunities from age 2-18 (starting in September), as well as adult practices starting this week.There is something for everyone! Every body is a rugby body!

Youth Contact Rugby
Who: Kids in 5th-12th Grade (broken down by age group)
When: Practices - 5-6:30pm, Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Dates: September 9th - November 15th
Games - Schedule to be provided at season start -  Games start in October and will be played on Saturdays or Sundays
Where: Dick Green Field (205 McCarty Ave, Albany, NY 12209)

What a weekend at Can-Am Rugby to celebrate Rugby Christmas!

Huge congrats to our Women’s+ side for capturing the Women’s Premier Consolation Final with an 8-5 win, while Burbany Mom Jeans went 2-1 in a tight semifinal run.

The Men’s+ closed it out with a dominant 56-0 match winning in the Club Division Consolation Final.

A great weekend seeing several actives sides, the Schenectady Reds, I-90 Old Boys, Knicks Men’s+, Knicks Women’s+, Burbany Mom Jeans with around 30 players on both active Knicks sides representing the club. Thank you to everyone who helped make it another great Can-Ams weekend!

Wrapped up our Women’s+ 7s Season strong with a 3-1 record at Saratoga 7s, with 13 new players joining Knicks practice this summer!

Next up: Can-Am Rugby . Join the W+ for practice on July 15, July 20, and July 22.

Equipment: Athletic wear, cleats if available, otherwise sneakers will do!
Activites: Learn the basics of rugby through the high-speed, non-contact game of Flag Rugby! Passing, catching, agility, and TEAM WORK!
