Union Women's Ice Hockey

Christmas in August 🎁🎄Here is a behind the scenes look at some of the gear our players will be rocking this season! Let’s get this thing started! T-20 days until game time! ⚡️

Now that the girls have gotten back on campus, it’s time to introduce our incoming class and their new numbers! We can’t wait for the season to start, the countdown is on!

After serving the last 2 seasons as an assistant coach and hockey operations/video coordinator, Courtney Hall has been promoted to full time assistant coach for the Union College women’s hockey program.

Hall, from South Lyon, Michigan played 4 years at St. Cloud State of the WCHA before finishing her career at Robert Morris of the AHA where she also earned her Masters Degree in Business Administration. Congratulations to Courtney on her promotion! ⚡️

Last but certainly not least, we have Madison Macaulay! She comes to us right up the road from Queensbury, New York. Macaulay is a transfer defenseman from St. Anselm where she played in 36 games last season and was named a Krampade All-American Scholar. Before college, she played at Lovell Academy. We are so excited to welcome you to the Garnet Charger Family, maddie ⚡️

Up next we have goaltender, Ava Romanow! She comes to us from Lacombe, Alberta. She played at Bishop Kearney Selects last season and she posted an impressive 30-7-3 record with 9 total shutouts. Last season the BK Selects finished 3rd place in the National tournament where Romanow played 4 games. We are so excited to welcome you to the Garnet Charger family, Ava Romanow ⚡️

Next up we have Ella Skotty! She comes to us from Elmhurst, Illinois where she played for the Chicago Mission. She won 5 state championships with Mission and captained her varsity hockey team. We are so excited to have you! Welcome to the Garnet Charger family, ella skotty ⚡️

Up next we have incomer, Lily Oster! She comes to us from Calgary, Alberta where she played for the Calgary Fire. Oster was the captain of that team and she led all defenseman in points last year with 28. Welcome to the Garnet Charger Family, just Lily **sigh** ⚡️

Up next we have blueliner, Lily Leckelt! The Sherwood Park, Alberta native comes to us from the Edmonton Jr. Oilers! We are so excited to see you in garnet! Welcome to the Union Hockey family, lily leckelt ⚡️
