Our interview with Karin Hall of Power-of-One Health Bespoke & Functional Medicine was incredibly eye-opening when it comes to understanding perimenopause and menopause.

πŸ’œ ? Perimenopause can affect so much more than just your hormones. Many women experience increased anxiety, mood changes, and even find that unresolved childhood experiences or past traumas resurface during this stage of life.

The good news? You're not alone, and there are ways to navigate this season with support and the right resources.

Have you noticed unexpected emotional changes during perimenopause? Share your experience in the commentsβ€”we'd love to hear from you. ⬇️

πŸŽ™οΈ We recently sat down with Don Applyrs to talk about the inclusivity and supportive spirit of the running community.

This year, the Albany chapter of Black Girls RUN! celebrated an incredible 10 years, and we are proud to have them as part of the Run for Women family.

Don, the husband of Dorcey Applyrs, shared his perspective on running, community, and supporting others. Mayor Applyrs made history as the first Black woman elected mayor of Albany, and together they exemplify leadership, service, and community engagement.
