I've fished hard my entire life in both fresh and salt, now mainly fishing the great lakes and Appalachia regions.

I love the outdoors, good vibes, enjoy making fishing content and occasionally offer open seats or guided trips. -Karl Wolf

I won't be posting much on this page for a while, running a variety of social media is time consuming and I'm always short on time.
You can follow/contact me on my official Karl Wolf page here if you'd like. https://www.facebook.com/share/17r1bog4ti/
One day I'll pick this back up but with all that being said.

I'm truly proud of my fishing show and the slow yet steady growth I've had over the last few years since I started it.
Showcasing the best multi-species fishing, adventure, exploration while having a good time doing so in my region has been what I aim for.

It takes a lot of time and effort to produce these videos and time is one thing I'm always short on between work and living life.
I've definitely improved greatly with my editing skills and content, especially since the first year simply mashing phone clips together.
If I had more time, I'd do even more and perhaps do different angles, more b footage but time is just something I'm short on and it takes 3-5 hours of editing as is to make a 20-30 minute episode as is.

As to the guiding for muskie in region, I've not been doing any and telling all the prospective client inquiries to seek elsewhere for 2 reasons mainly.
1. FFS forward facing sonar. My knowledge, skill and experience cannot compete with this single piece of technology. What I do and offer in services doesn't match up against a guide that will continously scan for fish and help you snipe them using FFS techniques.
Personally I believe FFS massively cheapens the fishery and is a serious threat to the fisheries but that's an entire different discussion but the bottom line is, I don't want to fish that way and don't support it

2. I just don't have time. I enjoy fishing myself, having outdoor adventures and camping trips.
Spending every weekend guiding and barely getting a few casts in myself isn't as appealing as you may think. After expenses there's not really a great profit on a $400 full day trip vs having a day off as I'm working/teaching, not fishing.
Perhaps in the future, who knows.

I said I would offer a full day muskie trip when I hit 2,500 subscriber mark on YT so I'll be doing that soon for supporters who'd like to participate in winning that.

Thank you to those of you who support my show/brand, I definitely appreciate it.

Decided to give the tube game a try for muskie

Photos from Wolfish Angling Adventures's post 06/09/2026

Had a wonderful time exploring parts of Allegheny reservoir for the first time, I should have the full YT video up later this week.
Definitely a place you NEED to check out for a several day trip and a place I will visit again.
