The NCAA has finally taken action to rein in the Transfer Portal.

The Division I Softball Oversight Committee has supported a change to the DI Softball Transfer Portal Window and the Division I Cabinet has taken action. The DI Softball Transfer Portal window will open on the Monday after the Women's College World Series and last 15 days in length.

The 2026 transfer portal window will open on June 8, 2026, and close on June 22, 2026.

🚨 Good Morning Softball Friends & Family. I’m proud to announce that we have moved to the most intimidating, most aggressive organization in the country! TOP GUN! In my time speaking with Coach Bob, Joe & Adam I knew this is where I’m meant to be. I am beyond honored & grateful to these gentlemen for allowing me to work with them. I owe them a huge debt of gratitude! Thank you Fellas!! Guns Up!
We are going to start taking info from teams that want to come to Top Gun and Coaches who want to come on to build teams. Email us at ( [email protected] ) We are interested in every age group but want to start young with 1 or 2 10u & 12u teams.
Tryout dates are set and will be released in due time. We will have 2 Ohio State Buckeyes that came from the Top Gun Organization there to speak to all players and parents about their experiences with Top Gun.
Labs day is also set up. This will be in the middle of August. All of the Top Gun kids from Ohio will get their Labs done at NO CHARGE! This is something we feel is important for all teams, coaches and players. As an added bonus, all Top Gun players will also be signed up with Sports Recruits at again NO CHARGE. It is part of the package for being part of Top Gun!
Finally we are going to run a Top Gun Event in September. Date will be 11th, 12th & 13th. We are working on some bids & we are going to do cash prizes to help teams fund their seasons.
