FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT OF THIS SEASON...

TRYOUTS!!

Many have been attending the off-season work and it's been going great. Mandatory practices begin on Monday February 23rd. These will go 7-9pm all week long in the High School Gym.

If you are going to play baseball, you need to be at these practices. If you (or your player) is still in a Winter Sport, get with your Winter Coach and Coach Canavan to discuss the situation. It is up to the players to make a plan with their coaches. Please don't just assume.

Please invite all new kids especially our Freshmen Families to join the group! The more people that have the information, the smoother the season!!

Join us TONIGHT under the lights at Jedd Park as we celebrate our lone senior, David Thurston, and all he’s given to Springfield Baseball!

First pitch at 7:00 PM – come out and show your support 💪❤️🖤

Don't forget to get out there and vote for our Students, Our Athletes, Our Band Members, Our Artists and Our SPARTANS!!! VOTE YES ON ISSUES 16 and 17!!

Don't forget that Baseball has Bingo coverage tomorrow. We could still use a couple of parents to help from 4:45-9pm at Spring Hill. Please consider helping. It's very important.

Also players have setup and breakdown before and after Bingo.

We need some parents to step up and help volunteer for Bingo on Monday May 5th. We already had one day covered by parents and now we need another group to help. Without more volunteers, it falls on those that will go to do a lot more work and the Boosters to have to pull double duty. Please reach out to Miranda Terry if you can help Monday, May 5th.

As the Ravens come to town for a double header at Jedd, the Spartans look to keep their wins coming after taking Woodridge down over the weekend. Next up, we get to know Sophomore Rylan Slusser:

⚾ Game is tied. You are on the home team. There are two outs. Bases are loaded. Would you rather be the player up to bat, the player on 1st, the player on 2nd, the player on 3rd or the player on deck? Why?
Player up to bat because then it is up to me!
